Salvador Dalí - Homenaje a Antoni Pitxot
Переглядів 1,7 тис.17 років тому
Inicio una serie de cortos sobre Salvador Dalí, esta vez haciendo memoria de Antoni Pitxot y su arte con piedras.
It's like a mix between Tom Waits and David Bowie...i love it.
The whole part from 1:30 is really sad “it wears me down, I’ll be your clown” He actually looks so worn out and at 1:48 that look in his eyes is depressing to see. Looks so tortured and a hostage to his own habits
this track reminded me of the Doors
Did he have white makeup on?
The 12 most momorable facial expressions of each apostle in living conversation.. for the rock sayer.. stone eye and face anthromorph-antrophologist :Omphallos vault.
The twelve faces of each of the 12 apostles for the crazy anthromorph...
No. Lol.
That’s Michael Weiland, Scott’s brother on drums. He died in 2007.
Drummer It's Victor Indrizzo, Michael Is playing one guitar
Sounds and looks like a heroin high. Arty and tragic at the same time.
Heard a little beatles 'shes so heavy'
is that Josh Hommes playing bass??
Martin LeNoble
Un payaso cotizado.
Más razón que un santo
Some dig their holes so deep the only thing left to do is go inside and lay down. I say he perfect what he did and is right where he need to be!
Kids......Don't do drugs.
I miss him, he was like a supernatural here...
weird crowd he's rollin with here
Sound Is Lovv There are nuns playing the violin. Are you sure the problem is with the crowd?
de que año es la entrevista?
absolutelyyyyyyyyeeeeeesssssssw!ef,yay!
Heroin 👍🏻
Ok, now i KNOW Scott was the illegitimate son of Tom Waits....I suspected it, but yeah.....
Greatness from another time in a galaxy far far away.. Rest easy brother.
peter distefano on guitar and martin lenoble on bass... big pornos influence on this performance
Weiland and P4P would of been great. Sucks this quality is terrible 2
Nuns on the strings
Oh hey this is my video taken from an old VHS tape which I guess I need to dig out and see if there's any other old stuff on.
+Loungefly37 Sure thats not Tom Waits singin?...haha
RIP Scott weiland. That solo album was tremendous. I was always baffled at the label not putting anything into it, promotion-wise. I mean that record is stacked with tasty treats!
He thought it wasn’t accessible enough! I say it’s perfect
Mike Wilson I had tickets in San Diego.
is this the Del Monte Speakeasy?
what a loss.
Berlin cabaret with a Beatles "She's so heavy" soundtrack. I like it....
Best way I've ever heard this sound described.
Cheers Andy, Scott's Avant'e Garde musical journey clearly shows his eclectic style and tastes. He was much more than a rock singer and front man extrordinaire. He was and always will be an inspirational artist who produced a rich, diverse catalogue of interesting ideas and imagery with sounds to match.
Johnny Carson you're absolutely right, Johnny Carson. This will surely get me some negative feedback, but even though I loved STP and saw them in their prime twice; once during the Purple tour, & again during Tiny Music SFTVG @ Desert Sky Pavilion in Phoenix, I always felt like the band, powerful as they were, kind of held Scott back. This truth was further validated when I saw him touring in support of 12-bar blues, with Daniel F-ing Lanois on guitar! Scott just killed it. They played the entire album, in order, in its entirety! He could've easily busted out an STP hit to gain the audience's love, but he didn't. He had that small crowd in a trance. As you said, frontman extrordinare, indeed. And I say this as someone who practically worships Dean & especially Robert DeLeo (and Kretz is no slouch!). Cheers to you!
Easily Scott at his Cracked Actor/Bowie level of low here physically. Much like Bowie at the time the performance is surreal. As for the song, I see it as a tip of the hat (a very flashy one at that) to I Want You (She's So Heavy). That waltz time when blended with Rock n Roll always gets me, "Junkie Swagger"
+ASocialCJ Yes, SHES SO HEAVY.... He is not only channeling Bowie, but vibing heavily in a Tom Waits trance.... The band is like a circus freak show... Dig this...
+MetalheadYA Its a bit Lady Grinning Soul, a bit She's So Heavy and a bit Vaudeville. Comes out sounding incredible in my opinion.
back before scott weiland sucked.
we all suck in our lives, sometimes...
Definitely lip-synced. Who cares, what other rock god would dare write a waltz?
+zstevens7 What video did you watch? He's most definitely NOT lip-syncing. Why would he?
+PinappleDave2000 Sorry, you're right. I was thinking of a different video. My bad!
+zstevens7 Your bad indeed. Scott sang pretty much every live and sounded great.
lip-synced my ass pal.
WILD STUFF.. Never heard of this till now.... Definetly shows his Musical creative side.. Drugs can dig you into musical creative scenes a sober Mind would never find or look for.. its very interesting...
Pensaba que esa frase se la había dicho a Bretón cuando le expulso del movimiento por no simpatizar con los ideales comunistas y tener amigos fascistas.
INCUBUS (SURREALLY)
how come he rarely plays this song its freaking amazing
unreal... i want to be in this song
..."he pintado con todo, incluso con pintura al óleo" Genio y figura hasta "en" la sepultura.
Si leen el "diario de un genio" de Dali, ahí explica porque afirmó tal cosa: "El surrealismo soy yo"
Wow. He looks like he's in such bad shape in this it's actually depressing to watch. I'm glad he got cleaned up now and hopefully keeps his head out of his ass.
the whole band is into this i believe that is scott weiland's brother love, william "the joker"
That drummer is really into it
@Loungefly37 only a matter of time before youtube yanks it again, I'm sure. Still, this is outright stolen footage for sure.
Hey this is my video. I actually encoded this.
Talent: singing in tune and tempo in spite of being doped as hell, unlike Winehouse.
oh amen so stoned on smack i wonder how they played it this is so mega rare from a vhs recording but than k god for the historians like me who did this with sympathy to the changing digital world. whomever posted this i have written about 3 posts but wow. i love this rock n roll roxy/bowie/beatles love, william "the joker" glasscock
oh amen so stoned on smack i wonder how they played on it, ha ha buy this record the performance is unreal this is great but the album is better. the drummer is the only one clear headed man scott weiland's brother wonder how that happened but oh man buy twelve bar blues~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel Lanois is playing in this performance and he is one of the greatest musicians and producers and does do drugs so im sure he played a big part in the show ans sound
