Good catch😂! Last year In my previous bank (Ally) I had my Roth IRA, I did a 10$ contribution in the 2024 instead of the year 2023. So I rolled over my account into Robinhood, but idk if those 10$ are included. So I left it like that.

In 2019 I started investing with 200$ in my Roth IRA and invest it in the S&P Total stock market or S&P 500 (samething), from there I tried to maxed out my Roth IRA ever since until today. From 2019- 2024 all the overtime I worked in my two jobs I deposited into my Roth IRA and high yield savings account, reinvest my dividends, and doing 5-100 $ contributions per week , Until today. It’s never late to start investing

Wooowww congratulations!! 🎊 when I was your age I only had like 5k invested because that’s all I could afford. But to be honest I would just tell you to invest in the S&P 500 or S&P total stock market. You will be good for the long run. But keep it up! You will be set by the time you retire

@growthportfolio crypto markt usually idles before election it happened 2020 as well but once the candidate is announced the market start to rally at least 10x must of the money will probably go to altcoins after bitcoin pumps

For Long term I really recommend any S&P 500 (SPY, VOO, SPLG) or S&P Total US stock market (VTI or ITOT) you cannot go wrong to own one of these they all perform the same. Choose one and hold it as long as you can. In the long run it will make you happy

Hi! I choose this ETF because it’s very well diversified. Since it tracks the S&P500 and 2000 more companies as well, I feel very safe in this investment for a Roth IRA retirement. This ETF performs almost the same as VTI another good ETF from Vanguard. Another reason why I’m buying this ETF it’s cheaper compared to VTI, SPY or VOO. I want the most full shares and of course the Yield.

I’m in my mid 20’s and I started investing since 2019. I was making 3 $ more above minimum wage and I tried to invest about 5-60$ a paycheck. But all I’m trying to say is it does not matter which type of investment account you have as long as you invest in something you believe in. You can do it!

Since it’s the S&P500, in the long run it goes up. So I just really have no criteria and just collect the dividends. However, If there is a crash then I will invest heavily. Thank you for your Comment!

When you have Robinhood Gold, they will match 3% of whatever you invest in your IRA. So if you invest $100 , Robinhood will give you $3

@@justtymir77 you can only contribute up to $6,500 to your IRA in a fiscal year. “maxing out” is contributing all $6,500 in a year

If you are using Ally very simple, in the app go to the “explore” and then tap in “self -directed trading” and then you put all your personal information and make sure you select “ROTH IRA” then you can open your account. I hope this helps!

First of all, woowwww congratulations having 400 shares of Microsoft 🙏🙌! I remember that stock was worth 20 dollars a share. If I would have known I would have done the same thing. Congratulations! 🍾🎊🎈🎉 I am hoping it’s gonna be a balance when I retire in the 2060’s around one million dollars to three million. Assuming the S&P still gives a 10% - 11% average yearly return, dividends keep going up, reinvest those dividends and I keep maxing out my Roth IRA. Remember you can only put in the Roth IRA as of 2024, $7,000 per year for those under the age of 50. Those who are 50 or older can contribute up to $8,000 per year. And think about it putting money in the S&P 500 or total stock market it’s never a bad idea if you hold it for the long term. Also, It all depends how comfortable you are for the long term. My plan is to max out my Roth IRA by just buying the S&P total stock market and then open a Brokerage account and buy Microsoft , Apple, etc and sell them for a profit short term or long term.
