@@paulshaw9953 a lot of people are really good SRV clones just like him, bro just needs to lose the hat and rings: come up with your own style. Otherwise he will be another clone like Katona. John Mayer didn't dress like SRV at his age. It's very cringe. Nice playing in 4 years, but there's many who are just as good if not better at 4 years, so not sure how he has managed to get into playing with buddy guy? just another srv clone. I am not knocking him, just needs to listen and drop the srv attire

@@paulshaw9953 look, you obviously know the kid personally or are family, but its a good thing to take any criticism and use it as an opportunity to highlight issues in the roadmap. not just me but many other comments saying lose the Texas space cowboy attire: it only keeps you in someone else's shadow, no matter how much you try to brush it off, people aren't stupid. He doesn't have to change much honestly, but the hat and general Texas theme is just too much. I think the kid is great and I play like srv also in a similar time frame, yet I do not dress like him. Neither does Sean Mann neither does John Mayer, not even Philip Sayce: they didn't as kids and they don't now, probably because back then people were less sensitive and told it as is, not like the current fluffy world!. Sometimes criticism is the best thing you need that you don't want to hear, even if you are a kid, it's the same with anything even in business.. And I should not have just said he has no originality, because that was quite negative, I'm sure he is starting to have his own style. He can play very well, now just needs to lose the srv gear and jump the nest. Hopefully you can take that for what it is with no malice intended. All the best and good luck

Still finding his footing with the whole playing right now, who knows what will.come as he gets old The guitar is a custom replica, his one is more scratched up now than it was when he bought it that's for sure, he plays it every day

You can get a replica by Fender or from a private custom guitar maker. Almost all SRV guitars are in Jimmie Vaughan ownership, his brother. Also a very good musician worth listening to. One of SRV guitars "Lenny" was up for auction 2004, and made USD 623,500 to a buyer from Texas.
