The replacement module I received has a plastic tab that doesn't easily clip into place. I returned it. When I put the single freezer module back in and resigned the Whirlpool refrigerator to darkness, with only the garage light to illuminate the inside, the old module clip snapped all the way into place and VIOLA, all the lights came back on. There is but one circuit, all in series, so all is well again! BUT when it's time for a new fridge, I'm going to look for a new refrigerator with a LIGHT BULB I can easily screw in and out. These modern units are like luxury cars in that there are so many fancy doo-dads that when they go out, you pay through the nose to have it fixed. BRING BACK SIMPLICITY!

Hey great video! I was able to replace the plastic piece of the hinge. I have the exact same shower. Unfortunately for me it didn’t fix the issue because it’s the metal part that’s misaligned :( I think the screw holes were drilled a bit off. The plastic piece was broken though so at least that’s fixed!

How do you get the squirrel cage to be level like that? There is nothing holding my cage off the “floor” of the housing so it wants to tilt towards the bottom. I can’t get it center in the housing. No matter what I do it wants to rest on one side or the other…left or right

not good stuff to use to glue a headliner with. I know I am an upholsterer any can glue will not hold and make a big mess to clean.

Surprised you didn't clamp down the wood when you made your cut. Was that just experience showing? I'm going to be installing a similar cat door myself and doing any sort of woodwork for the first time, so I'm thinking of buying clamps. Worth it or nah?

Thanks for the video. It's riducous how difficult it is to get to the battery in these things. I found a replacement battery at my local Interstate Batteries for $19.99. It's 12V, 5 A. Works great.

We have a DX model, so no factory drivers lock switch for some dumb reason, only the passenger side. Ordered a cheap after market replacement switch that has all the windows (including drivers auto up and down) child lock, and now drivers side lock switch. Plugged it in and it works perfectly, and was able to program how we want the locks to function. Seems the wiring harness and brains are all the same, but they cheaped out 10 cents and left out that one switch!

I'm no mechanic. Just a weekend warrior really, but changing out spark plugs has got to be one of the most fundamental and easiest jobs to do. Until you get to a modern vehicle and realize how much stuff you have to remove to even find the coil packs and spark plugs! 😂 This has gotta be the best video out there for anyone unfamiliar with this engines layout. Instead of me spending half the morning blindly pulling off stuff needlessly, you've very clearly demonstrated exactly how to get to them. Very well done! Thank you for saving me so much time, and a whole lot of frustrated swearing. Lol.

The DX model has lock actuators and is stuck in the default setting. Any way to toggle this without using the driver's side lock button (the DX model does not have a button there, just a plastic cover)

Mine started making a loud noise and vibrating badly. I pulled my motor out (generously, Nissan Canada makes the wire so short that you can't remove the motor without unplugging it) and found a piece of rubber had dropped onto the squirrel cage from somewhere in the dash. Pulled that out, and no noise or vibration. Thanks @Repair Nut!
