This video was taken on Sunday 25/8/2024, when all donations made on the day were given to the Friends of Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Approximatelay £680 was collected. A big thank you to the folk of Tonbridge for making this a worthwile event. This is something which we usually do each year, and the Friends provide us with cake, to keep us going all of the afternoon.

The first run of the Society's new loco. Following a very generous donation from the family of Ron Finnis, who used to run his loco on our track, we were able to purchase this Class 66 Loco to enhance our fleet of electric locos. 12/6/24

Our Christmas Run on 16/12/2023

One of the days at Christmas when we run for the public, Mince pies for the members and chocolates for all the children, big and small who take a ride.

This is a video of how the track at The Slade was constructed way back in the late 40's. Sorry that the quality is not very good, but it has all been converted from the original cine film. This video came to light when one of the founder members wife came across it and thought the Society might like to keep it.
