same issue sir , how did you fix it
Haven't fully fixed it ,It's seems to be a combination of different things, the new stator helped a lot ,it lit up after that went in .It idles a lot better, But will still stall every now and then .Looking at replacing the fuel injectors next .Even arctic cat had problems solving the engine problems on these models, To the point of replacing engine and wiring looms to fix the problem. I figure just go through the process, fix one problem at a time and see how much it improves it time. The wildcat likes a good amount of electricity, So maybe look at the stator if you haven't done that yet. Hope that helps
Thanks sir for your advice, God bless i'll try also to figure out what is the cause on my project wildcat1000, then update you sir
Is the WM-4 a cheaper model in the series?
It was, made in south Korea i believe .
@@SilverFox-je9hf Thx
Warranty only good if you buy from them? So I won't be buying at all!
This is what it says on Amazon.ca WARRANTY - Novus rv security door lock provides 1-year warranty for the original owner for electronics, and lifetime limited warranty for finish and mechanical operation
Do you know where i can get a replacement spring for the door lol mine flew across the room 😞
Hey ,No sorry. Mite have to get a large magnet and search again for it me thinks .Try flicking through Amazon there's springs that look kinda close ,you mite get lucky and find one that works.
Did you drop your front tire pressure? That would help a bit more.
Hey ,i generally run around 60psi for winter and 75psi in summer,.It is hard to see in the picture but did have a decent grade to it ,Wanted something abit challenging to test the chains out.
Thanks for the review! I didn’t want to drop major cash on some rears yet. This was a good overview. Thanks brother.
Do you have a link to it? I can't find it on Amazon. How are you liking it still? How responsive is the touch screen pad? Thanks
Hey ,your right they don't seem to sell it anymore there.Search this in google - Novustech Rv Keyless Entry Door Lock .It will bring up the same lock from other sellers .The lock is awesome ,Haven't used the keys since last year.Still have the same battery's in it ,They have gone though -30 celsius to +35 this summer and still going. The touch screen is super responsive ,Just touch the side button and keypad lights up .Then enter door code. Here's a link also to the manufactures page ,but still search google for better prices www.rvnovus.com/ .Hope that helps
Thanks for the video. Couple of questions. Once the truck has been remotely started from the outside of the truck, then i get in, do i then need to place the key into the ignition and turn to "on" position in order to drive? Have you heard of or experienced any problems with seat or steering wheel controls once installed and working? Do you happen to know the max range at which the remote starting kit works? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for watching, So yes key in turn to on and foot on brake. You'll see the dash lights flicker then go bright, Then you're good to go. I've had no problems with my steering wheel controls, And I've used the remote start quite abit since I put it In.The remote/fob works as far as factory/oem ,In a car park ive started it about 60m away but depends on how new the battery is in the fob as well .Hope that helps some .
These pieces of shit are a sorry excuse for a "Pathfinder" what the frick Paths can they find. They are just an AWD QUest. Not an offroad vehicle any more. I see the newer ones they make the word "Pathfinder" about three feed wide on the back...nope that still doesn't make it a pathfinder.
-18c is about 0 degrees f, not 64 FYI.
Do you know what original ac power adapter this unit uses?
The model number for the power supply i believe was part# AC-4A rare as hens teeth but you might get lucky and find one .Other wise there are Sony 6v 300ma Walkman power supply's on eBay ,Just have to check connector plug to the unit is the right size.Have put a link below ,hope this helps www.ebay.com/itm/166381330206?hash=item26bd199f1e:g:ec0AAOSw9cNlKJhm&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0NFveoO2K50EHiqUdTdWYXhZaI11JleacrBPGJfjkXBjkQCTbyZ8gKfEvR2%2BQ%2FXrTD%2Be5AvAZWD7DTqjWfaWqJqFtMa8EAothnRcZ3iRb6PKv2q9FVAeeENMCvtaPhezVw4VrmPBX7V2FmTgm6N8TUIVlHGf5Sh9zOY15JVGXsWbnoZl6agDtLliwh2YnOS5iORHscndHFRZRpI3X%2FAaU8A9RC2esNqRtoOPjfCS6btfajxT0G46Z18fbwEZLmIalESQtJiVKVFH2XBeEPInmIw%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-zzhY6nYw
Ford had severe issues with their transfer cases. Almost inevitably they’d fail within the first 40k miles. The only known cure was transfer case gear oil changes every 15k miles in hot climates such as the climate in the southern United States. Had you ever changed your transfer case gear oil?
Hey ,We live in a colder climate ,Southern British Colombia .So summer hot then the drop down to the cold in winter. We had the oil done when we bought this at 35,000km .When the mechanics at the shop looked at it , Said the Transfer case was way over full .So someone didn't no what they we're doing at one time .We've had it 4 years without any problems ,And of course just out of warranty when it happened .The Pathfinder of this year and around it have known breakdown of the transfer case .Nissan in town here will install a used one for us ,Just being trying to get one with low Km's at the moment .I'm hoping next year we can get it fixed ,Then i think we are sell it .
I just can't decide between these and the Vertex for my F150
It all depends on what you're using the truck for. Vertex are a big jump in price ,But they have adjustable damping systems. So you can adjust them for the terrain you're on. Not so much the V2's ,But I do a lot of off road driving and these have preformed awesome .Especially on wash boarded off roads, The rebound on the V2's keeps you straight as an arrow down the road and not fish tailing. And Good underload, Have a quad on the back every so often. The V2's are good value for money if you're on a budget. Hope this helps 👍
@@SilverFox-je9hfabsolutely helps, thanks for the f/u. I think I've decided to go with the Vertex. Scavenged around YT last night and found a vid where the guy was removing V2s and installing Vertex on his lifted F150 so I got a very good idea on the install, feedback, application, and use feedback. Will hunt down a Black Friday deal when it comes around. Cheers!
How is the ride quality? how are they holding up?
Hey ,I find them a lot more forgiving with say the Quad on the back now. They absorb a lot more through the pot holes ,No more shape cracks through the cab when I hit them now .I haven't had any problems so far with a lot of rough roads driven.
I recent got an arctic cat wildcat 1000 and I was looking at the radius rods. I was wondering that when tightened down completely, is there suppose to be any wiggle room for it to move around a little? Or is it suppose to be as stiff as a rock?
They shouldn't be loose or wiggle if you shake it (so yes to more rigid/stiff).The original radius rods and A-arms are pretty sloppy. I'm slowly replacing these parts ,but in the meanwhile make sure every nut & blot on theses are tighten up ,They are notorious fo coming loose .Replacing the bushings are fairly cheap fix for now .keep an eye deals for these parts they do come up often, can save a lot of money this way .Hope this helps
How to size for this walkman?
Are you asking how to size the new belts?
@@SilverFox-je9hf yes
I got mine off ebay as a set ,try this link www.ebay.ca/itm/DeckTech-Replacement-Belts-for-Sony-Walkman-WM-4-WM4-WM-4-Rubber-Belt/324092133118?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=777008&algo=PERSONAL.TOPIC&ao=1&asc=20220705100511&meid=9c72c4aa8c774287bfbed2c54557940b&pid=101524&rk=1&rkt=1&itm=324092133118&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=2380057&algv=RecentlyViewedItemsV2&brand=DeckTech,pageci:685beed3-1ec5-11ee-9c84-8af7e643bc9b%7Cparentrq:3d86786b1890a60cd238adb8fffd7cc6%7Ciid:1&_trksid=p2380057.c101524.m146925&pageci=d2d4295f-0c52-42a0-aa77-78133352dd42&redirect=mobile .depending on the seller they will let you no usually how to measure them .if you're belts are really old take about 5mm upto 10mm off the measurement you get ,it's usually half the belt circumference if that makes sense when measuring them .
Do I need to drain the oil ?
Hey, Yes you do ,That's something I obviously didn't do but didn't cause any problems just abit messy
Valve adjustment needed. Probably what happened was fuel was not burned in the combustion chamber in one of or both of the cylinders and sent to the muffler. The fuel probabably saturated the fibers in the muffler and caused a fire.
Thanks ,Much appreciated. I'll check that out.
Yuppers sure helped me to make a decision. Man do they look gnarly n perform aggressively. Thanks again mite
Can you tell me where you found the digital gauge
Morning, found the gauge on Amazon, There were a few on there to choose from. Just make sure they are the right thread size ,think I say the size on the youtube video .1/4 inch I think. Thanks
@@SilverFox-je9hf Thank you I will check there 👍

*Best chain for ever. Bad tire for snow. Use tire 195/80 R 15*
It's a Tundra not a Honda Civic...
We always put our chains on the front when we were using only 1 set.
Yeah I would normally, But I don't have the clearance with 35 inch tires .They would tear my fender liners out
But I do need to sort something for the front, lower profile maybe ,my steering just floats with the wide tires as well
Have you used them yet? Update on how well they work? Is that price for a set of 4 or 2?
Hey ,The price is just for 2 chains and 2 spring chain tensioner's , Haven't had a chance to test them yet . not much snow around .Will see if i can find a place this week.
Did short vid trying the chains out they grip and rip Awesome!!!!
Thanks bud for the quick response
No worries, Hope it helped 👍
Can u do a video on the wiring to that stator I bought a used cat missing the stator and the wiring is trash I'm trying to figure out what wires go to the 3 wire connector thanks
I'll try and do it next weekend, you just need to no the 3 stator wires?
Lots of hiccups! Thanks for showing us what not to do, haha mine just came in the mail today.
No worries, it's the Start-x UA-cam installation vid that screwed me up a bit, but got there in the end 🤪. Thanks for watching and good luck with your installation.
who made your windows front and back?
Hey ,The Front window is made by Kimpex part# 1436-661 .I got mine in Canada but can't seem to find them for sale up here anymore ,Can't find it in the US either .It maybe discontinued .I found this one different brand just have to check fitment . kombustionmotorsports.com/products/bent-metal-arctic-cat-wildcat-vented-windshield and this one to sidebysideoutlet.com/product/glass-windshield-with-bottom-vent/ .The Rear window i made in Episode 6 (2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 X Copart Build - E6 - Making My Own Rear Window And Frame) and finished in Episode 7 i think , I listed the parts needed in Episode 6 in description. Wasn't to hard to make Basic tools . Thanks for watching ,Much appreciated ,Andy
I like that windshield can you tell me where you got it

Awesome install vid on your Arctic Cat! Hope you enjoy these flares!
Thanks ,I probably took a little longer than normal to get them on ,But they look awesome and I'm sure they'll do the job (keeping me a little more mud free inside)
Where did you get this roof
I originally got it from kimpex canada , www.kimpex.com/en-ca/home .But they don't seem to have them any more , i found a few other sites in the U.S that carry them. www.pureoffroad.com/audio-formz-speaker-top-arctic-cat-wildcat.htm and xxxpowersports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40_41&products_id=263 hope this helps
great to see run the wildcat
Replace your filter sock in your fuel tank. You got something weird going on. Maybe check all vacuum lines. air intake tight? Mine never has done anything like that.
I did get it running better ,at the end of E10 i take it out for a ride ,it still has the problem of starting up if turned off. i replaced the fuel pump and sock ,and some of the other electrical parts which did help.
My arctic cat 2017 wildcat sport SE runs rough sometimes acts like no power can anybody tell me why. I change the fuel injectors didn’t help.
Good job.
A good idea is to change the fuel filter sock out for a new one when you get a chance.
Must have been running lean.
150 dollar pressure idler
i did buy a Idle Speed Control Valve for $37 from aliexpress same brand as they sell here for $150 ,Thought i'd try it out for good or bad see how she goes
so you installed a lot of expensive stuff!? hope you can enjoy for some time! the old wildcat is still some of the best and coolest rides out there- ;-) lookin for some ridin vids!- look at the wildcatforum ! ;-)
Yes i have,I didn't want to splash the cash on a brand new one and then have no money for mods. And there's a lot of discounted mods for the older cats right now. Thanks for the feedback
