Where in Devon is it
You can see the full vid in the link. It will tell you and show you 😁
When I saw the title I was sure it would be Cornwall! Nice walk down to it too. 👍🫶🏻
It's actually devon. But yeah beautiful walk.
@ we have lots of interesting walks in Dorset, we live here! Take holidays in Devon, love it. 😻
@sandraheald7073 I'm originally from the north east. But I've lived in devon for years now. The south West has the best coastline walk in England in my opinion
@ we have thought about moving to Devon, stayed at a converted Barn at St Giles on the Health, near the Devon/Cornish border, many times, our dog loves the freedom of the land with it. Only 6miles from Launceston.
@sandraheald7073 that sound like the dream! I'd kill for a house with some land in the middle of no where
Conger
It wasn't.. I saw a post on facebook two days later with a full picture with its head and it was a thresher shark !

Thankyou, it's certainly an experience and we'll worth a visit
@dptgtv I may give it a go..
Are you local?

Bit of a trek 🤯😃
I have a magazine with an article about this lovely church. There were pictures of people walking to the Christmas Eve service by lamplight. It was so beautiful. Nothing like that here in Australia, of course.
You have a magazine article about this church all the way in Australia? Wow! Thanks for watching
Subscribed as I will NEVER remember your channel name to find you again. Great content, MUCH better than most 3 times the length. Sure you'd have more subscribers if you had a catchier name though. Thanks for the video & have a great year 😊

St aldhelms chapel at St Albans head in Dorset is smaller and older!
Oh really ? Is it a working chapel? How old is it?
@ records show payments made in King Richard III reign which is 1272 or before. And yes. Still used by parish for services occasionally.
Wow that's cool . I might pay it a visit
@ got the radar monument next to it as well. Radar was developed there
What an intresting little place
Crazy Fools ….. Top video 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'd say more stupid than crazy 🤪 thanks for watching 😁
BRO i needed that knowledge so much ;d i noticed there is something slick going on with that mechanism, but couldn’t figure it out by myself .. thanks!!
No worries bro 👊 It is a strange one that not many people seem to know about. But soooo useful, way better than these modern, so called, automatic wipers. One of VW’s best inventions, imo, after the PD engine that is. Should be on every car! I found it out by accident but at first wasn’t sure if it was legit!
when you said it's open 24 hours was that written online , because I've visited churches that also say open 24 hours on the online opening hours , however it is rarely the case when actually go after 5pm
We were there quite late . The door was unlocked and no one was there . I'm pretty sure it is . It says make sure you close the door because of birds. It's quite literally in the middle of nowhere. I can't imagine they have any issue with no one being there .
What oil catch can are you using …name …brand and we’re can I get one from
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156177903091?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=n_uvJ3MMQq6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=dzslmqdoq8u&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY That's the link for the catch can I bought. 19mm inlet and outlet , it's just a generic one . A 19mm iside diameter hose fit the tubo inlet pipe nice and snug but you need a slightly bigger or more maleable bit of pipe to fit to the crankcase. Hope this helps
Well done guys ! That looked brutal 😅
Well paul I can safely say we won't be doing anything like that again for a while ... at least without doing a bit of training lol . I've since learned people do and pay for 16 week training courses before they do that particular challenge... we did zero mins of training 😅
Fair play gents. That looked pretty gnarly at times. The block of cheese at the end 😆
This was by far the hardest thing I (dave) have ever done in my life . Would recommend.. but would recommend training before hand lol
What a great video. Such an out of the way place. Great to see.
It really is out the way. Glad you enjoyed it. It ironic really as I wasn't going to do this video as I thought it wouldn't really intrest many people, but I have been proven wrong 😁 thanks for watching
It wouldn't be Bueno. You've swapped the vowels round. I don't know how the English pronounce it there, but Beuno, being a Welsh saint, is pronounced Bayno. ('u' always has an 'ee' sound in Welsh.) There are many places named after him here in Wales. My gran would have been one of the many Welsh folk in that region a hundred years go, working as a maid or whatever they could find in tough times in The Valleys. I camped on Porlock Hill a couple of years ago, and was struck by how much of South Wales was visible from that one point. A century ago, it must have been like looking over to Mordor (possibly named after Merthyr, for the same reason), day or night - smoke pouring out of all the Valleys, ports and cities, from steel works, docks, pits and thousands of coal fired houses and industries. I wonder if anyone took a photo of it? Looking out toward the site of so much of my personal, family and national history, it was quite an emotional thing.
Thanks for the Welsh language lesson. I have no idea how it's pronounced (classic englishman). I am fortunate to wake up everyday and see the view of south Wales from my window. Somedays it is amazing and crystal clear.
I'm also glad this video sparked some lovely memories for you
Prediction: It will be a 'strategic Mosque' within 5 years
There is nothing strategic about its location that's for sure 😅
@dptgtv Isolated areas have become highly prized. A Scottish island was recently in the news after a bid was placed which was found to be for 'foreign military' training
That's very intresting. Doubt you could get away with that on mainland England though
Bigoted comment and highly unlikely there are hardly any Muslims in Exmoor
There is hardly anyone there at all full stop. Its literally in the middle of no where 😅 @sharynkhan1104
I've seen a grave of a guy who died in the 1700s aged 92
Has got to have been a very rich and important person for sure

Just saying it how I see it 😁
Great Video! Keep on the good work

@daddyabdul6125 thanks mate . I think this is one of tge easiest jobs I've done yet
I've climbed a fair few mountains mostly barefoot (carrying boots for scree slopes), but only as a child. I don't do it these days.
Love it pal! I can't believe tom did the whole thing even the scree no problem! I'm a boots man though I wouldn't have lasted 2 mins
In all honesty, yes, irresponsible and stupid. especially Watkin's path as a large shale area. weather changes fast in mountaious areas and it can get very wet very quickly so ill advised, I hope the guy not is shorts has all the gear for both in the backpack and thermal blackets etc... it's just screams help, mountain rescue... windchill and hypothermia are killers even on Snowdon.
@overlandready did you even watch the video?
@@dptgtv some of it enough to know you're not right in the head. In honesty, it's a pretty stupid thing to even try, you have little thought of actuall planning, execution and honestly, even the idea is a danger to you and others, think of the bigger picture! You're two idiots on a mountain, not an expedition with medics and a full support team. Where is your risk assessment, back up plan, thought processes? There aren't any are there, that is why you are idiots. that is why it is dangerous, that is why you should have your head examined. Youu have no consideration that some others might try this and yeah, you might have done something, but others will do it and not be so lucky. It is absolutely not a smart thing to do. I bet you never even passed this stunt by mountain rescue as they'd have told you no and where possible stopped you.
If ypu watched the video you would know we had all the stuff. What a waste of time writing all that stuff lol
@@dptgtv Ok, do a video on the planning, show you "had all the stuff" show the communications with Mountain Rescue, weather services etc... and the risk assessment, the back up plans and how you would have executed them! If you don't, it's obvious you didn't have all the ideal things in place to perform such a stunt. You are just ignorant ans even worse for claiming that you properly prepared! You really have no idea how stupid and dangerous you are!
Omg🤣🤣 you make it sound like everest .. it's a glorified hill at best, we walked up a path which was made in stone, by people hence the name watkin path. If we got cold we would of put on our gear .. which we took. What is the issue? I think if you get into trouble going up there you should probably be worried about leaving your house and walking to the shops. Just use some common sense . Bored of people over glorifying things that aren't really particularly that hard. What maybe the hike of a lifetime for one, maybe just a walk in the park for someone else. Like I said watch the video. It tells you what gear we took . What the temperature was on the day and how hard we found it . Can't believe you can comment on something without even watching it anyway 🤣
Bravo! Nice trip and very good endurance 👍👍❄❄
Thankyou, do you do things like this?

Unreal stuff lads keep it up! Ever thought about doing the 3 peaks challenge?
@tarltinho thanks for the encouragement! Yeah we were just talking about it the other day actually. Would be worth doing something like that for charity I reckon . I know some people who tried to do it and got stuck in traffic so we're unable to complete in the 24hrs which suck a bit really

Great video mate, I am planning on doing this solo mid November so was great to see your journey, looked pretty challenging in that weather and gutted for you that you didnt get to the true summit but you got pretty close - good hike by anyones standards. Keep it up mate, you got a new subscriber and I look forward to seeing you do Snowdon as I want to do that next year. BTW love the Golf!

@Kp-rh4mc you can use some pliers to grab the hose and gently rock it back and forth being careful not to break whatever pipe is underneath. I'm looking to buy some. My daughter bought some from the grocery store, but I looked it up and it says it has to have UMF certification to be the real honey. It says "the MGO present does not by itself account for the non-peroxide (UMF) antibacterial activity of manuka honey. Increased levels of MGO just add to the base level of activity, which is why the antibacterial activity of the honey does not increase in proportion to the level of MGO." I'm so confused. I want to use the real kind that won't affect my body like the sugar in regular honey does.
I think like anything you kind of get what you pay for .. the more expensive the better it will be as long as it's from a reputable company. And made in new Zealand 🇳🇿
