I had a lash business and my husband has a mechanic business. From a business standpoint; paying the company first until you hit a numerical goal can be a great safety net for your business during a recession. Easier said than done but so worth it for the long term and then next time it happens, we will be prepared. ❤

What upset me was the fact that they removed lashes from our scope of practice and we weren’t grandfathered in. We have to pay and apply to get a lash lic. I can’t believe that it’s only 30hrs. That was also disappointing to me. In az it’s 600hrs to do nails! But to work on eyeballs it’s 30😱. In Texas, it’s 320hrs for a lash lic. That makes more sense. It makes me not want to lash anymore because now, in my small town is saturated with ppl who are lashing and offering $50 for full sets. It’s crazy.

@@adalwaysthere I would definitely lean into who you are and attract the naturally introverted clients / students! you can use that in your advertising and talk about how you’re a great fit for the introverts✨🤍 You’re 1000% cut out for this if it’s your joy and your passion, you don’t need to be outgoing to find your people - just lean into who you are otherwise you’ll feel like you’re forcing yourself to be someone you’re not. How do I go from having 40 clients to less when I love a lot of them and know they can’t afford to pay the prices I want to charge without the guilt? Do you just say you are upping your prices to $X amount and hope for the best?
if it would break your heart to do a price adjustment knowing some of your clients couldn’t see you going forward, I would grandfather some of them into your existing pricing. You can have this conversation privately, so the majority of your clientele will move over to your new prices.

So the adhesive in the glue tray, in your opinions, isn't effected by the humidity in the air if it lasts longer than 15min in the divot?
it depends on your environment and your working speed😇 if you’re really fast, it’ll be unworkable sooner.
