My New 2023 Indian Challenger Replacement Bike
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
My new 2023 Indian Challenger starts up way better than the 2022 that I had. I'm happy with it for now and I love the new color.
I have a 2019 dark horse, same issue and many more, currently in Lemon Law litigation. Take it back to the dealership, it's going to get waaaay worse.
Did you figure it out?
The Indian Challenger is modern American steel 🇮🇱♥️🇺🇲
21 Challenger limited 9,000 miles. No start issues, failed GPS, failed TPS, cooling fan sensor. Other than that it’s great, lol. But, I will add Polaris customer service stayed with me…..I also have the extended warranty. That I highly recommend.
This has been addressed too many times but this bike must be kept on a tender. The bike has a constant amp draw do to security system, and other computer related issues.
Check out the torque limiting gear. That was the problem with my challenger.
thats crazy. my screen just started turning off and on while riding the other day... sometimes it just dies when i gear down.. i got a challenger ltd.
Did you figure this issue out?
remember to check your battery terminals! mine were loose. problem solved!@@richb4296
I had similar issues on my Vkctory Highball. It would hard start, sometimes die at a red light. I was on my 3rd battery in 5 years. I bought a high end Odyseey battery and haven't had an issue since.
Where did you get does front foot rest at love to get a set
was it replaced under warranty or did you have to pay extra ?
i have a pursuit 2022 .it does this some times . does yours throw a code in the diagnostics on the screen for a cylinder misfire PO301 PO363
did you fix it ? what happened
I agree 2023 way better than the 2020 Challenger Limited
It does multiple kinds of batteries and yes it does AGM
Is that charger designed for AGM batteries? A fully charged AGM battery is 13.10 volts. AGM batteries rub higher voltage and need specific chargers/tenders. A run of the mill auto charger will under charge an AGM battery and kill it.
Things shouldn’t be this complicated. Over engineering everything.
I had the same problem. You can have you dealership call Polaris to do a ask Polaris ticket. They will get it fixed. The part needed is called... ASM TLG 65NM. It's a sprocket with a spring on it.
That's what they call a torque limiter. They replaced that and that wasn't it. It actually got worse after they replaced that part.
yup. Sorry Allen, I ditched my shitbox today. I give up on the fight. I pity the person who ends up with my Challenger with both of the compression releases stuck. My channel has my videos attached. Polaris sucks at customer service.
Did you sell it?
@@AllenWoodell25 traded it off on a new Harley. It goes to auction. Buyer beware. I’m sure that VIN will be a problem again very soon. It hardly started to leave here in a warm garage. The compression releases were stuck in full compression. Too bad, it was amazing, until it wasn’t. Polaris/Indian suck, they are covering up the bigger issue and refuse to fix it even with rock solid proof.
@@AllenWoodell25 I traded it on a 2023 Street Glide. Lost a bunch of money, don't care. Polaris are a bunch of dicks
I’m having the same issue. It’s only when the bike sits for long periods of time. Once it’s started, it runs fine and doesn’t have that issue once it’s warmed up.
Yeah man and it seems to be worse in the cold.
Mine eventually started doing it even after it had been started and warmed up.
@@AllenWoodell25 I put in a NOCO lithium battery and it doesn’t do it once it’s warmed up. Seems like lithium battery is the way to go.
@@AllenWoodell25 I also noticed the voltage on your battery dropped to 7V? That’s low
They have not figured it out yet
Damn does not sound good 😢😢😢
Did you figure it out?
Hey everyone please subscribe and like the video and I'll keep you all in the loop on what's going on with it. I'll also try to do a video at the dealership if they allow me when I go back up.
It wasn't the battery but I have found someone who had the same issue and it ended up being the easy start cam on the back cylinder being stuck not releasing compression while starting. Of course Polaris won't listen to me or anyone else because they think they're smarter than everyone.
Battery is sauced shouldn't drop below 9.6 v either that or the starter is drawing way to many amps battery voltage is .4 volts low of a fully capable battery at 12.6 prolly losing a cell
