    Is there a cooking spray you guys recommend? Also, if you repeat the seasoning process several times does it help build a layer to protect the inside of the pit?

    Will P&S ever make an Vertical smoker? I got pit boss pro series 4 vertical, but daaaamn how sexy would it be with an P&S Vertical Pellet smoker <3 Can u make one on request? Vertical with 5-6 grill slide grates? special request, is that even possible? =) Prize does not matter! time does not matter! i would pay infront for that!

    @pittsandspitts1983 - Wouldn't grease travel down the drip pan onto the smokecage chute, which would then drain towards the fire/burn pot? Seems like the current design increases the likelihood of a grease fire. Why not design a drip pan with a center channel diverting grease or oil away from the smoke cage chute?

      That is not an issue we've encountered. The chute on the Smoke Cage does not cage much grease at all and any that is caught tends to be incinerated before it makes it to the cage itself.

    I always wondered why Pitts & Spiits is not bigger on Social media and UA-cam :S In Norway i asked a place called BBQShop Sandvika for this one, but they only had other pitts and spitts models :S I guess Pitts and Spitts dont send to Norway for private customers? I rly rly rly want this one, dead serious! Then i can sell my Pitts and Spitts 2000 This Hybrid can do all man wtf, i could smoke with food first 3-4 hours, then just pellets after. Or grill over direkte flame or that plate/gridlle. COME ON. 6 months ago i commented "TAKE MY MONEY" and the bbqshop refused... Pls pitts and spitts, ship to Norway? AND TAKE MY MONEY!

    I'm sorry, but that does not look like an 8 lb cut of meat. I've cooked plenty of 8 lb to 10 lb pork buts, and they are way thicker, way bigger than that.

    I’ve had U1.16 for a while now. I never knew “modes” could be toggled. Was never told so anyway when I requested the update last year I think or maybe late 2022…I can’t remember how long I’ve had that update. I have the instructions on how to toggle between settings for different models but not modes.

    This is Remingten Whitworth, grandson of Wayne Whitworth. We still have our original custom pits built by the man himself. Would love to provide a perspective of history from a family member. Unfortunately we lost the company due to faulty public offerings. The original offset smoker changed the game and I’m forever grateful for my family’s legacy

    I haven’t seen any reviews on the hybrid. Is it too new or can you tell me more about it? I am by intrigued by your company. I went on here looking for reviews about a camp chef when I stumbled across the mad scientist bbq reviews comparing your smokers to everyone’s. I’m pretty sold on your brand, now that I’ve seen more about it! And you can give Jeremy Yoder all the credit when I have you deliver one to me(in northern indiana)!

    Love my MAVERICK 2000 SS... what an absolute beast. The addition of the smoke cage for burning some apple or pecan chunks is an easy way to get a dark bark and even more smoke flavor.

    if you had the solar panel for skeet thrower what was powering the P&S? The walk around I was expecting a small generator or battery pack but if that was there then why the solar panel?

      The thrower and 2000 are powered by a battery. The solar panel is used to recharge the system.
