I guess bubbling effect was hard to remove. Otherwise, this felt much better to look at than the trail of purple sludge that lacked carnage.

The dead bodies were a great touch. Remake could have at least added those in and kept a Teen rating.

They completely screwed up the plate fall in my opinion, not because of Cait Sith in particular but sound design and cinematography. There shouldn't be music except the classical piece in Shinra's office, and the camera should be centered on the residents not aware the plate comes down.

Apart from their tops seeming to not have any straps whatso ever (are they glued on?), it is certainly a great improvement over the remake version.
