Did the shrine of winter open from the primordial bonfires? I had always thought it was the boss souls. Usually the backside is closed even with a Perry walk.

Hey, I'll be your first comment here. You may have addressed it, and if so I missed it, but how did you get so many casts of SS? The biggest annoyance of this spell is that its once per character, and maxes out at like 4-5 casts with gear, so I'd be down to get more of it somehow, as well as other spells like it.
I used the Attunement Glitch, it's a PC only trick: Equip Sunlight Spear, and warp somewhere, during the fade out, right click, click back, attune spells, hover over soul arrow, and click on the spell the moment the game fades to black

You still need her soul to continue the game, so by skipping it, you're still dooming yourself to having to grind 1M souls. Congrats: you found a way to skip something that ultimately would have saved you time.
you don't need her soul to beat the game, ill explain more in later shorts :)
@@GaspHQ won't matter to me. I completed the game two nights ago and am NEVER playing it again. Your tips, tricks, and skips won't do me any good, because I'll have no need of them now.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the game, if you ever pick it up again, try out some of the skips. I've added more videos to the Parrywalking Tutorials playlist, so it should feel like a different experience :)

its my first entry into the series, it does some different things from the other game, but i think DS2 is cool.
Cool, this is like 20x harder than just defeating the boss regularly

Why do all this, theres an easier skip that still grants you rewards for the area boss thats beyond well known. Can this be done like anywhere else? This is actually worse here.
What if you want to beat the game using only the "required" bosses? Also, there are a few bosses you could just "walk around" to skip
Or just have him walk off the edge...
You could, but that wouldn't be a "Skip", you'd just be cheesing Dragonrider
Cool video, i've never seen most of these parrywalk skips and they're great. althought you went a bit overboard with all the planning, you still managed to defeat the ivory king bossless
