The airport has grown! I took lessons there 45 years ago. Bob jones, my instructor, cut the throttle on me over those same bars

Great shots! Hope to fly my RV6 out west this summer (based in NW Ontario) but I don't think the RV will be on and gravel bars... but seriously thinking about the beach on the west side of the island! any tips?

Nice clean bars up there. Not usual for mountain drainage's. Also nice you can land on the grass to save your tires. Must have a practical non OCD manager. not like the ones that were appointed to YNJ and YCW. Their inconsiderate dictators that were appointed by nepotism.
I can’t believe I’ve never even thought of landing on the grass in Squamish. Do the locals do that often? If it’s accepted and okay I’ll start doing that. I much prefer grass anyway.
