33 years. I cried. And I don't remember the last time I cried before this.

In the past my partner and I debated if we meet in every reality- I said we’re both fucked up enough we met through our shared darkness- she believed we meet in every reality- no matter where or what we do. It seemed idealistic and couldn’t possibly be so happy- then I read a book- called A quiet universe. The characters face so much- so much heartbreak- so much suffering- yet despite it all- when literally without their memories and without true cause- They wake up in a bedroom just their own after everything- reborn and together despite their struggles and despite all of life’s cruel circumstances. I stared Teary eyed at the pages while reading- glitter forming at the corner of my eyes as this theme played in my mind- I thought of her and all she believed. I whispered to her as she asked if I was alright- “… You were right. After all.” 🥹

This music should play when everyone in my class and whoever knows me finds out who i truly was... I always wanted to make others happy even though i was extremely hurt on the inside. So hurt that i got used to feeling the pain and just ignoring it. When they find out I've been alone my entire life and that i have no one with me to share anything with. When they find out i couldn't last a day without taking my antidepressant.
