Thank you! I'm assuming you're referring to the distant horizons mod? I've actually played around with it before in this world. It didn't end up looking as great as I expected, but that being said, I probably needed to fine tune the settings since I only played around with it very briefly. Regardless, I do plan on using other software in the future for long distance renders (and perhaps videos), just once I've got the build in a more complete state!

@@duckynatalie a few days (or weeks?) an update was released. Maybe you find better options now for finetuning in this mod. You use replay mod?

I added these very last minute to mine so the viaduct especially is still a work in progress but I tried to make it look okay by limiting the camera shots to certain angles 😅😅

thanks, im doing exactly what you said! HBP but DH boathouse/battlements! (though the interior includes places from all the films - for example the chamber of reception is there, though not in the correct spot since it doesnt exist)

@@duckynatalie Ooh yeah sounds really cool! In mine I opted to not include the exact chamber of reception but we have rooms heavily inspired by it in areas like the suspension bridge foyer (on the transfiguration courtyard side). Where did you put your chamber of reception?

@@inferunt that makes sense. I put it by the training grounds tower - the arch to enter it connects to the arch in the Alnwick castle area with that path if that makes sense? what version of the castle are you making?

@@duckynatalie Ahh I see that's smart, I didn't know what to do with it so I just have it connecting straight through to the transfiguration courtyard cloisters. I am also building the Half blood prince version, using just half blood prince so without any of the deathly hallows additions/changes (boathouse and battlements). I've been working on it for around 3 years now and both the interior/exterior is pretty much done at the moment, hoping to release it in the coming weeks!

Thanks! In this video, its only the original 0-255 but in the few months since this was made I've been working on surrounding mountains and making the lake start lower and go deeper so when I'm done it will be using the entire new build height limit!
