TESTED & TRIED
Each of the items shared this week have been tested on real adventures, from hiking Yosemite’s trails to kayaking in remote waters. They’ve made my journeys more comfortable, safer, and more enjoyable. Whether you’re an experienced outdoor enthusiast or just starting your adventure journey, these products can take your trips to the next level...but I also want to encourage you to get out and adventure any way you can. When I started hiking, I didn’t even own a pair of hiking shoes...I used to hit the trails in my UGGs or sandals! 😂 Just because I love a product and it works wonderfully for me, doesn’t mean you need the exact same product or that you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. We adventure uniquely, and while I hope these products will be helpful to you, I ultimately hope you’ll adventure safely, remembering all the Leave No Trace Principles and seeking out your own wonderful experiences.

Are there any roads close cause of snow season?

Wow ❤❤❤❤
Wow ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow beautiful ❤❤❤
How can I get there? I search El Capitan on Gg Map and it shows I have to hike to get here :((
A very informative and nice vlog. I can't wait to travel there this weekend (Friday-Sunday) from Los Angeles. Yosemite should be amazing all seasons and planning to visit the places you suggested especially El Capitan, Bridalviel and Lower Yosemite falls, Valley view, Tunnel View and the Yosemite Chapel or more depends on the weather. I see rain on the Saturday forecast but it should not stop me from going to these majestic and iconic locations. Thanks a lot and God bless!🙏

Stunning
This is the best
This is a fantastic overview of some of our favorites, too!
Thanks so much!! 🙌😊
They are lovely properties. Guests need to plan for traversing the distance between the accommodations and the park. Although they may appear close to the park, they may still be a distance from the entrances. Ahwahnee has seen better days. Really, the park service needs to restore service and amenities to its past glory. For people planning a trip on a more modest budget, there are cheaper lodges that most people will find nostalgic and fun. No hot tubs and spas, but ping-pong tables and trivia games with prizes.
I'm waiting your Vlog at Alabama Hill with lupine 🪻🪻🪻
Hope you wouldn't mind😢
I want to use this video.. I will give credit😅
Awesome video!! So beautiful!! 🙌🏼
Thx for sharing so much good info!!! We will be there next week!! So excited! Awesome video!!! 👏🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for such a thorough video. Great job!
I unsubscribed last year due to poor video quality, maybe due to fast camera scanning/moving causing blotchy blurs, which can cause eye strain and dizziness. Maybe it is camera quality also? I tried max resolution to 4K mode, but not improvement. I can view other nature videos good. Anyways, I really do want to enjoy your videos, but the viewing experience makes it difficult. I will check back later to see if I can enjoy your relevant videos. Thank you.

@@sea9041 these are iPhone videos I use to share a mini “virtual visit” to accompany my websites weekly blog posts - I don’t create or produce professional videos, I just share my real-time iPhone clips of my adventures (so if people want they can join me for a mini visit to these spots as I’m exploring). It sounds like my iPhone video content doesn’t agrees with you but there are so many wonderful UA-cam video creators who focus on production value, with high end cameras & in depth editing so I’m sure you can find plenty of other video creators to enjoy instead of mine.😊 My videos started as a way to share my adventures with my dad who could no longer go out and adventure with me before he passed away, it’s been an incredible joy that so many others now join me in my weekly virtual visits too but I don’t try to be something I’m not - I’m not a film maker, I’m a woman sharing my adventures as I’m able, with anyone who wants to join. I hope and trust you will find other content creators you can enjoy with much better video quality - wishing you wonderful adventures.🙂
Beatiful video. Well made. Watching your video makes me want to set out tomorrow.
@@wanjunli7310 thank you so much for the very kind & encouraging words - I love sharing my adventures & it brings me so much joy to hear that others are enjoying these videos. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, I truly appreciate it!😊
No reservations now ?
@@rootedorganically4911 park entrance vehicle reservations are not needed for the rest of 2024 - you can enter the park without reservations for the rest of the year.
We are making our first trip to Yosemite Wednesday. Thanks for showing a glimpse of what we can expect. Excited!
@@Austinrkr it’s a beautiful time to visit - the fall colors are really popping on the west side of the valley.😊
I love those trees and the last time I saw the redwood trees, was back in 1975 when we got the News report of Elvis Presley's death? That made for a really sad day, for my mom and my Aunt? But I used to climb trees for a living? And my good friend and my boss and we went up in the mountains up from the city of sultan Washington and we climbed the biggest tree that he could have ever found out there? And it was 9 foot through the middle of the bottom ? I kinda feel like it was bigger than that? But it didn't matter we didn't cut anything off of it but we just climbed it to take pictures and to see how difficult it was to climb? We had to use two climbing lines that were 22 feet long. And we had to use the other one when we got up to the limbs and attached it above the limb because it was 90 ft up to the first limb that we crossed over from the top of a smaller 100 foot hemlock tree that was next to it. The tree we climbed up was just over 200 feet tall and we took lots of pictures and we had a few of the best ones blown up in size to 12"by 14" sized pictures. But it reminded me of the time when we were in the California redwood forest. Those were the days? God bless you guys and have a great day and thanks for sharing this with us.
Glacier point is so cool
This is fantastic. I'm heading there in a few months and this was so helpful. Thank you!

What they said ⬇️
We are big fans of watching your videos but you need to check out your volumes they are very low! We have been meaning to tell you this for a while
Hi, - I enjoyed the video, awesome photography and its historical content, loved it, though, I struggled with the sound. Thank you for bringing small chunks of the beautiful and forgotten past. 🎉
Been there. It’s a great place.
Amazing my friends
Hi Marie, is it very easy to slip off when going down the trail past the fences to get down to that spectacular view directly in front of the bridge? I wanted to go past the fence, but I was not sure if there was enough room between the fence and the cliff to walk safely without worrying about slipping. Thoughts?
Whats your advice of a duration period to see everything in the your video? I am planning a 3 day visit in November. Also, are the falls alive during fall? Thanks for this video as it is inspiring me more.
Thank you so much for tuning in and for the kind feedback 😊🙏 Fall is a wonderful time to visit. All the spots from the video in the Yosemite Valley can probably be visited in 1 day (or 2 days if you like to take your time). I'd recommend starting at the Pohono Bridge at the west side of the Valley (right at the start of Southside Drive), and then move your way around the Valley in a counter-clockwise direction, eventually ending at Valley View on Northside Drive. The waterfalls, unfortunately, this time of year are typically a trickle (or dried up completely), but if there's a recent rain, they can pick back up a bit. Depending on the weather in the next couple weeks, Tioga may still be open...if so, I'd leave a full day to explore the high country along that road. There may not be a ton of Fall colors left, but it's still an incredible drive with lots to see. Similar to Tioga, Glacier Point Road may still be open as well, which I'd highly recommend if it's open. There won't be any Fall colors up there, but you'll find some of the best views and hiking in the park up there. I'm considering a trip up to Yosemite next week to see the park conditions...if I do, I'll try to post a live-update video 🙌🍂 Have a great trip!!
@@flyingdawnmarie thank you so much for your suggestive response. This gave me great insights on the planning part. You’re a gem. Keep up the great work.
Bobbbbbby!!!! Cindy!!!!
Great video!
Why you have the lie about the peak foliage timing? I had my reservation for the week of 10/19, because of your video I cancel the hotel, lost $400 since it's non refundable. I went there on 10/12 and it's only 50% peak. Stop lying to us. Unsubscribed 😢.
Hi there. I'm so sorry to hear you had such a bad experience in the Eastern Sierra. I assure you all the video footage was from the timeframe I said it was, and no AI was used...but I hear that you feel misled by the real-time video footage you saw, which is no fun for anyone. I'm not sure what area you went to, but if you went to the spots I shared in this video, you probably noticed that many areas were past peak, some were peaking, and some were still lime green as I stated in the video and as I expanded on in my full blog post. I create these videos to provide a "virtual visit" to accompany my weekly blog posts, and as I stated above, all the clips in this vlog were captured in real time exactly when I said they were and I feel they accurately represent the spots I showcased. I'm sorry you canceled your hotel in the Eastern Sierra this fall...I certainly did not and would not have encouraged you to do so, as there are many fall foliage spots that peak from late September through the end of October all along Highway 395. I always attempt to share adventure and encouragement, and although I don't understand how you can feel "lied to" by my video (since I very clearly showed specific fall spots, exactly how they were currently looking at the time of posting), I know there are plenty of other wonderful content creators out there, and I trust you will be able to find ones that are a better fit for you to follow. Blessings & all the best on your adventures!
Imagine it ruptured while he was recording
