the chances would be way higher actually, you already had a crucifix from your rift so that doesn't count as a found crucifix in a row, the shop one isn't too rare it's like a 60% to get but that crucifix after jeff's shop was the rare one since finding a crucifix in that location and many others is 0.66% so it would be 0.396%. done with an AI. For some reason this would be a lower number than your ai calculated, maybe you did it wrong but who knows.
