Eight years ago before I left Framingham I remember walking into City Hall and it still has that smell of the 1950s. It still has its original woodwork in the auditorium and you can see the American flag standing there. It’s a beautiful town where a lot of immigrants made it their home but now everybody’s running away because everything’s so expensive Little apartment that I had there now for $3800 a month and it’s still the same size. It’s a shame that people have turned my New England into a greedy.Pit

I worked at Jordan's in the 70's as a PT job as a high schooler. Thanks for look back! The employee's entrance went to the lower level. We had a separate entrance I remember. Lot's of memories there

I had a friend who used to work on the loading dock...I'd met him at that employee's entrance where the 'remote entrance' was. That was also where the B&W/Grey Lines bus stop was. I left Fram. in '93...so shocking to re-visit, now.

You may recall the two big ancient willow trees on the cinema side, outside the mall. Sadly, they blew down in 1985 when the tail end of hurricane Gloria came through. I drove by the wreckage before it was hauled away. I took some small branches and shoots. Put them in water jars, and eventually they grew roots and some got leaves. One was planted on my family's land, and now it's a 70 foot tall 36 year old willow tree. Actually, the same tree that blew down. : )

When I was a kid back in the 70s living in Newton Massachusetts, Shopper’s World in Framingham was the place to go. We’d all get in the car on a Saturday morning and literally spend the entire day shopping for kitchen appliances, home electronics, or back to school clothing. Those were good times especially around Christmas.
