great trail conditions after a recent rain, my 2018 ktm 250 xcf has over 500 hours on it now (minor replacement of some engine parts). From the 5th row to the chasing the leaders, Gabriel DaSilva and Caleb Odem who had a good battle. Didn't quite have the pace to get in the mix, and it was my first race of the weekend, didn't want to get greedy and toss the bike like i did 2 weeks earlier at Summit point in my first race..

stock suspension still, went to a 52 rear sprocket. Full rekluse with radius plates, Michelin starcross 5 medium rear with soft front, EBC epfa sintered front pads and fa carbon rear pads.

I'm doing my best to keep up with California fast guy Deion Campbell. 2018 WERA GNF.. Can skip to 2:00 or so to skip warm up lap. Race was cut short by red flag.. Didn't get the restart on vid, but results were same. We still had nothing for Deion .. LOL .

Final race of the 2016 Southeast and Mid Atlantic championship series. Not as exciting as my VIR vid i posted in June, but this one shows the new pavement. It's freaky-smooth. Took me awhile to adjust to the feel. Wish i would have had the gopro working on Saturday when some of the really fast guys passed me. Next time.

awesome weekend at VIR with CCS Southeast/Mid-atlantic region racers. first time at Lil' Tally on my r6, first time CCS came here in almost 20 years. Light turnout but still a fast WERA guy Daniel Paine showed up and towed me around. He beat me, i beat him, then he took this final race we had together on Saturday. I did manage to push him to his personal best lap time of :59.2, and i ran a LOT of high :59's, so pretty pleased overall. Can't wait to get back ! it'...

5 min of a cool loop someone marked at Croom motorcycle park. gulf coast motorcycles 2016 350 xcf 13/51 gearing using mostly 3rd gear. michelin starcross 5 "soft' 90/100x21 front, 110/100x18 "intermediate" rear. Kreft moto complete 4cs fork redo and basic shock revalve.

nope.. feel pretty good, and have been riding dirt bikes in woods since a few months after accident, but even a year later, still not feeling 100%. not up to full speed on the dirt bike and it's showed in the few recent offroad races ive done. way off pace..
@@gregmelka keep healing up. It’s people out here that aspire to ride as good as you, if not better than you someday. You set the bar high. Be blessed, man!

Greg, I've been watching your videos for the last few years and appreciate all you share for us to learn from. Definitely something to learn here to. It's a dangerous sport and you have to look out for your fellow riders 1st and foremost. It's why I ride with a group that puts safety ahead of anything else. I'm glad to read you are recovering from your injuries. As a fellow old guy, I know how difficult it is and wish you the best. Looking forward to future videos - without the crashes!

Question,I bought a 1991 Honda VFR 750F a while back and I am getting her back to original. 100hp Gear driven cams,,single sided swing arm,etc..do they offer a ventage class at barbers I could run her in?? Thx alot!! Cant wait till spring!!!

@@bamaboysmith2723 personally I've never got to practice or qualify on the track. But if I'm not mistaking, they do have inspectors before being able to ride on the track around/with others. They even sell fuel.
They also have pits that provide power outlets for air,tire warmers etc. But I hear they get booked fast. (could be wrong, again, I never have qualifed. Not yet anyhow) #1/2
