Rob's Autumn Gear Review
Just because it's windy and the swell is rolling doesn't mean sizing down the gear is the right call. Rob "The Wingman" Marchewka talks about riding a bigger foil and board to avoid falling into the cold water.
Gear used is the JP X-Winger 122L, Neilpryde Glide Swift 1450, and the 2023 North Nova 5.0m.

Rob had never tried this set up but was beyond enthusiastic after his golden hour session. You can check out his review in this same clip.
2024 Mammoth Marathon Race Highlights
Переглядів 351Місяць тому
The Toronto Windsurfing Club's annual Mammoth Marathon race around Toronto Islands is always unpredictable and the 2024 race was no exception. The light wind was challenging and made it looked like those with a foil were going to win the day, but then the wind dropped entirely about halfway through the race.
The JP X-Foil Can Do It All
Переглядів 7242 місяці тому
Anton decided that he wanted to demonstrate the versatility of the JP X-Foil 6'10" IPR. The forecast was for light wind so he brought his Neilpryde V8 7.7m but quickly realized that was too big and managed to grab a North Sails Wave 4.2m which worked a lot better despite being a little on the underpowered side. Finally, to cap off the session at the beach he grabbed the Neilpryde Fly ll 5.4m wi...
JP X Foil 6'10"
Переглядів 2752 місяці тому
Anton and Chris wanted to tryout the JP X-Foil 6'10". It's a Wingfoil Board that can be used as a Windfoil Board too. Many new riders think that they need a smaller board to start, but this video shows that's just not true. The 158L board is both excellent for beginners and advanced riders alike. Especially in winds where riders aren't sure if the wind might drop, having the extra float is adde...
Slingshot Code V1 First Rides
Переглядів 3803 місяці тому
Rob Marchewka takes the Slingshot Code V1 11m Kite for a ride in Keswick to see just how good it is. The wind was around 15knots from the NW, which are pretty standard conditions for that spot. Rob was immediately impressed with the handling, power, range, and versatility of the kite. Considering the kite is available for as little as $549, he felt it was a real bargain. This kite works with mo...

Goya Airbolt Wind & Wing Foiling

Anton Nemchinski tries out the Goya Airbolt 135 both Windfoiling and Wingfoiling. The wind was up and down and parts of his foil kept coming loose, but it was a great session that included experimenting with a 4-strap wing foil setup.

So smooth, so inspiring!
Maia, nice tack. You’re an inspiration for all.🤙
It was occasional heel side tack:). But I figured out how to do toe side tacks
Maia your'e awesome, go girl go !!!
Nice video. Where is that launch? Is it a public launch?
Gosh he's sexy 😮
Excellent shooting and editing !
Can I ask where you play? I just arrived in Toronto and am looking for a place to play
Congratulations. I used the 5.5 M Fly pro today and I am blown away how good it is. Best wing I have used to date hands down. I have been winging for 4 years and own many different wings the Fly is by far the best
Good stuff, silly jumps though.
ouch
Nice drone video and wow! it looks like a great spot... I guess Center Island with beautiful Toronto skyline in the background ... Torpedo gets more and more fans every day... cheers from Italy
Thanks for the amazing drone shots! Absolutely love the Torpedo - has been both a great light wind board, and when paired with the Sabfoil 909 wing becomes an absolute dream in the waves. Love the Neil Pryde wings too - super efficient ;)
Enjoyed the video! I was wondering what Anton`s weight is. He seemed to be doing great with that large board.
Thanks! I weigh 80kg or about 175 lbs
great foiling , music sucks
Is this package still available ?
You should all be thinking about entertainment. Life is fleeting, so no one knows when it will end. And the most important thing people overlook is to learn about God and develop a good relationship with him! "Make the best of your time, because there is a lot of evil these days.17 Therefore, do not be unreasonable, but try to understand what is the will of Jehovah" (Ephesians 5:16,17).
Good review, thanks! It would be helpful if a lot of the "uhh"s and "umm"s could be limited. Appreciate the information!
Did you use the same foil gear (mast, fuse, front wing) for both windfoiling and wingfoiling? Did you have to adjust the mast position of the foil gear when you switch disciplines?
It was indeed the same foil. The Foil position was changed between windfoiling and wingfoiling, but it could have been left in the same place. Also, a short fuselage was used (better for winging) throughout the session.
Nicely done, sir! Big board, big foil, big wing, in tiny winds!
Just bought one:) thanks silent:)
Hi Anton, It looks great! We have such conditions during whole summer in TWC. I think it would be even more efficient if you've taken more high aspect foil with more span, like 1200-1300cm.
Great video, love the kite. For a light day Rob, you were rockin' out there.
Ive just bought this board on the basis it can be wing foiled as well but i havent seen a single video yet of anyone wing foiling it?? If its a true freefoil why dont JP promote that feature?
Loved the review! How are those handles?
Looking good Chuck. Nice tack and nice honest comments. Beautiful looking wing.
What a tack!! Nice looking wing
Looks like he is on a Neil Pryde extra large Surf Glide ... that's what I use and I love that foil. I use it for winging too ... can't beat the Neil Pryde lineup of foils. They are the stiffest in the industry and super durable.
Great video. You guys think it’s possible to dock start from the pier?
I've 5m2 wing. When my skis get in powdery snow, I can't to pick up speed or even burge. Is the wing for sliding on ice or firm snow only?
Hi! can you ride the wing on the hills or in the tundra like in norway? does anyone have such experience? not only down, but also up the slope.
What size of front wing?
Strapless and Harnessless, so much fun.
Great video Anton, a couple of things that will help you maximize your performance. Tightening the battens to remove wrinkles and improve draft and stability, increase your harness lines length and placed them further back along with the mast foot to maximize your geometry and trim. You will feel a noticeable difference in the low end and forward drive. All the best winds and please keep making these inspiring videos 👏👏👏🙏🏼
Nice video and good summary of how to set up the gear.
bellissimo
how big are sails 6m ?
The yellow Goya is 6.4m and the black North Sail is 4.2m. Wind is 5 knots to 12 knots.
Thanks for sharing , a great help with folding my 2x window kite
Are there Wing Foil beginners lessons in Toronto?
Awesome. Love the music too
𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖔𝖘𝖒 😱
Thanks! I'm considering a Freefoil in 105L!
Take it to a mountain and do huge jumps
Hello Max, thank you for the great video. I have the same wing setup as you. Jp Freefoil 115 and a Np wing Xl. The wing is a 5.2 GA Cross. I'm still a beginner and can't find the right foil position. Could you tell me where is the correct foil position for the XL wing so that the front foot straps can be used. Greetings from Germany Ralph

Awesome new sport
When was this taken? Chicago is a icey wasteland right now.
How is the wind range of those wings? I'm mostly flying at 5-7kn can a wing provide enough pull so low on the ground?
Inspirational. Opens up a whole new season.
Spectacular, clip, Simon! Et Paul, ça fait du bien de te voir voler comme un oiseau!
Dont Slack Kids, go watch that sunrise.
Awesome video! Have you guys tried Slingshot Hover Glide FWing? If so how do you compare this one to Slingshot one? Which one would give you earlier start and which one is more manurable?
