A curious question - Being a Buddhist monk , don’t you all think that using social media/ running a UA-cam channel is an obstacle in the practice . Being a lay person , I feel that mobiles put a lot of barricade in my own spiritual life but you all are monks . What do you all think ? Namo buddhay
As if you were interrupted.Not everyone will be disrupted.If you know how to use the Internet and how to use UA-cam videos,I don't think it's a hindrance but a benefit. As monks, we use our phones. There is no Buddha's command not to do it.🙏
@@drukheaven Sir , with due respect first of all how could have Buddha commanded to not use mobile phones when they didn’t even exist during his time ? Secondly everyone in this world is well aware of social media addiction , radiation from mobiles etc but as a monk one has to increase his efficiency and focus everyday which can’t be done if we use mobiles everyday . If you meet any master Zen Buddhist , who are masters of focus and concentration ask them if they used phones or not during their journey to become so focused . At the end of the day it’s your choice and thinking but I know when you will try to reach a high level of spirituality you will automatically stop using mobiles . Namo buddhay 🙏
