Why cut a dead tree? Also im pretty sure thats illegal at least here in Finland
Howdy! We were in the United States National Forest when we filmed this video. The rules here are, that you have to purchase a firewood permit and that you can only cut down dead trees within their (USFS) perimeters. We have a lot of forest fires in our area, especially this year. So we have lots of burn scarred forests with dead trees. That particular tree that we cut was from a burn scar from back in the mid 1990's.
