@@MariamNoor-p4l thank you 🫶🏼🩷
The Graveyard book is one of my favorites! Great read
Make sure to remember all lies you have ever told and to share food with the homeless and to reverse alll lies ever told its very important for the souls future
Spray painting the string of lights was such a good idea. Have you had any issues with the paint cracking or flaking?
Sorry I just saw your comment! So far so good on the paint. It adhered pretty well to the cord. I could probably scratch it with my nail if I tried but just normal use has been good!
@@lynnlouise Awesome! Glad it's working out!
Best project ever
Wow thx babe
No, you cannot stave off criticism with "Don't take it so seriously". There's a sharp difference between something you can enjoy without thinking about it and something you can ONLY enjoy without thinking about it.
You're so pathetic kiddo It seems that these books hurt you so much that you start spreading hate about them everywhere lol
i loved it <3
Ahhhh! I love this series ❤️
Definitely lacking in classics but cute overall! 🎄I’ve wanted to treat myself to a bookish advent for ages but it’s so hard to find a good one with classics 💔 Considering just asking my boyfriend to take my money & my TBR to make one for me!!
Right! I should have known better because I am the pickiest person when it comes to books 😂 Awe that's a great idea! That'd be a perfect Christmas present!
I liked Rory better when she was in High school.
currently reading the secret life of bees and i love it 💫💕
me too!! 💛🥹
This was so fun!
Thanks so much ❤️
been in a similar boat where i just wanna devour all the fantasy series too!! jade city is really good so i hope u enjoy that one! excited to get to mistborn & the will of the many!
oh good, me too! I'm about half way through the first Mistborn right now, and it's so good. It's got a much more serious tone than the other two Sanderson books I've read.
I've only read two Robin Hobb books and I already consider her a favorite author. Such a talented writer.
Oh good! I am so excited to get into the Elderlings!!
Great list of books you have there! Looks like literally years of reading to catch up on there - enjoy! :)
haha right! only like 115 books, no biggie! 🤣
I'm only halfway through this but I am loving this so far, what a great concept! Sounds like you're similar to me in that you've got a lot of the classics still to read. If you ever want to buddy read something together let me know!
thanks so much! yes that'd be awesome. Yeah I hear these books referenced all the time, so it's time to finally read them 🤣
I loved this idea and format! I feel like your personality came out a lot in this video, and you helped me add more books to my TBR for 2024 (I’m mad, but not really😂)
Awe thanks so much!! ❤ I'm trying to be more myself in front of the camera! It's so much harder than I thought it'd be! lol right this list is insane 🤣
I really want to read Brandon Sanderson’s books now!!
There's definitely a lot to choose from! 😆

I've seen some down-right horrid reviews. Even insulting the people who gave it 5 stars. I think some people like to be contrary for their own personal issues. Anywhoo, I gave it 4 stars. Overall, I liked Fourth Wing more, but I still found this book entertaining. I'm glad that RY changed her mind to combine Part 1 & 2 into one book because I'm not sure how I would have felt if they were split up into two books like it was originally planned. I thought Part One dragged a bit and Part Two made up for it. Great vid! 😁
Same here! It was long, but it would not have felt complete without part 2! Thank you ❤️
@@lynnlouise There are so many ways that Yarros could have made each part its own book if she or Red Tower had even the slightest concern for editing.
Great video 😍. I really enjoyed this book. I gave it 4.25 stars and it helped finally really get out of my reading slump so I'm really grateful about that. I can't wait to see how the ending of this one plays into book 3.
Thank you! ❤️Right, that's what Fourth Wing did for me! Me too!
Everything that is popular with the community of women or girls will definitely get shat on at some point by the internet -_-
Right! Just let us have fun! lol
And that is certainly an interesting discussion to have as to why this keeps happening, but that conversation isn't possible to have without acknowledging that, yes, these books are critically bad.
@@GatekeeperGuardian-wv3cd well yes, but let people enjoy things they like
@@Shinigami344 That's just it: What is enjoyable about these books? Every answer I've been given is something that can easily be contradicted or some basal application of a trope or character archetype with no concern for how it was implemented.
@@GatekeeperGuardian-wv3cd I don't know, I don't read these kinds of books, but I'm guessing that, what's appealing about it is the fantasy world, chosen one trope, dragons and a sexy man. We are not the target audience for these kinds of things, but if people like reading them and enjoying them, they shouldn't be shamed for it
Amazon is doing the live action adaptation of Fourth Wing. Rings of Power and The Wheel of Time both look phenomenal. I just dont know how well Fourth Wing would translate into live action given all of the telepathic communication that are happening.
What!!? I had no idea. Yeah there's some things that can only be done well in writing. 🤣 that's awesome though. I'm excited to hear updates on producers and casting!
I think it could work fine with a voice-over. ..I hope they don't start the project too early though. There is only 2 books released out of 5, and the books have so many clues hidden in them for the future books. I don't want a TV-show to make up the ending like they did in Game of Thrones. I hope they wait for all the Source material.
I keep seeing bad reviews for the book, but I definitely loved it. I do see why people don’t like it, but I think they’re being so harsh because of how popular the series is.
Right! I'm like calm down everybody!! lol I have seen some unhinged reviews.
I don't think people are being harsh because of how popular it is. I think a lot of people are confused because it's not really that good but it's so popular. The writing is bad and the books are basically just a mash up of every YA dystopian/ fantasy book from the last 10 or 15 years. Nothing new. It felt very recycled. As someone who reads a lot of fantasy, there are so many other better books out there. When I read Twilight for the first time back 2008, I thought it was the best series ever. If I read it now, it's terrible. It was always terrible. 😂 people make fun of twilight now and it was crazy popular back in the day. It still holds a special place in my heart. But I feel like the same thing will happen with series. It will be insanely popular then forgotten in 10 or so years.
I think it's funny that some UA-camrs complain about the existence of the romance and the intimate scenes, ... didn't they check the genre of the book before reading?! It is first hand a romance book in a fantasy setting. 😐 Well, I liked it! (even though there were some cliches). I actually liked the second book better too because of the revelations from all the puzzle pieces/hints from the first book about all the secrets the government and characters are hiding. I really liked how the battle scenes and the intimate scenes were written. When I have read "normal" fantasy books,..then I think they may be good but I often feel that they are missing something, (like spice).
@kari_325 ok, calm down.
Yarros' writing is super elementary but the story line is so good its hard to care.
Just got to the part where you said exactly this lmao
And that tiny redemption arc is what made me bawl way harder than the veeeeeeery end, cause I feel like they definitely will figure out a way to fix that issue.
@@BeeHind haha right! I was honestly not too concerned about the ending 🤣 they'll figure it out just like the wards and everything else! 🤣
I loved watching your review! :)
thank you so much! 😄❤
To add to my previous comment, I LOVE the book tabbing method you use to mark important moments in the book!
haha thank you! I should probably come up with a more precise method soon 🤣
Your reading nook looks sooooo comfy <3
awe thank you! I just finished making it, and I am loving it!
Did you love it or hate it? Let me know!
I just read Phantom of the Opera for the first time and loved it! I have also read Dracula and Frankenstein. Must reads for everyone. Especially horror lovers.
Right!! I love them!
I love what you did!! So snug and cozy!! 💕 Nothing being level is something I FEEL in my home!! I also bought my childhood home and it was built in 1901 so NOTHING is level or even. All the walls, floors, and ceilings bend this way and that but, I love this house so I do what I need to. 😊
Thanks so much. Awe that's great! Right same here! So many memories. There's a wall in my bathroom that is somehow curved 😂
Lmaooo the ending 😭😭😭
Love it❤
Love the vlog. The autumn road you showed coming home from Half-Priced Books was so pretty, with those gentle hills.
awe thank you!! ❤ oh I know right!! I love that road!
I've never heard of Lost Horizon! I had no idea that it was the source of Shangri-La. Importance of Being Ernest is so good and wildly funny. That's the only one of these I've read before.
I thought Shangri-La was a real place until I read the book 😂 Right! It was such a nice play. I really want to see the most recent movie version.
Over $30 for a book?? That’s wild! The vibe of this video was so cute and autumnal🍂 I think my favorite part was your sister randomly getting out of the car to pet the cat😂
i know right!! 😂 that's my whole book budget. Thank you! ❤ Yeah she's a coocoo bird 😂❤
I like the dog. The editing was really good. I also do not like thinking about my life.
Awe thank you!!
been trying to up my video editing game. let me know what ya think 😅
Men and women can't understand the woman's nakedness in the future forever loss of sexuality no more lesbian porn omfg
Had the same experience with "Home Before Dark". I know it's probably not that scary to people that read lots of horror, but I had a very creepy and fun time with it! So happy I saw a new wrap up from you ❤
haha right! it was so much fun. Aweee thank you so much ❤
i loved acotar so much, but stopped reading acomaf at around page 150 because i felt it was too boring and dragged out. this inspired me to power trough it because the second half of the book sounds really interesting!
Yeah I feel like these books could've been cut waaaaay down and still had the same effect lol
crescent city isn’t ya, it’s new adult! throne of glass is YA though, so maybe that was it?
ooooh it could've been! not sure why I was thinking it was YA!
Tampon will always be the most anoying character, and i deleted the firts book from my mind. But i do love our gilr Feyre and her hole women empowerment and how strong she is, except when it all is reversed in ACOFS. She is stronger than that.
Whenever she left for the second time, and he started "roaring" I was busting out laughing 😂 yeah ACOFS was soooo weird to me. Major change from the other books.
I couldn't read crescent city either.
It felt like two different authors wrote them! 😅
Ha! I love your goose sweatshirt at 19:00!
haha thank you! definitely my favorite online game 🤣
I've been wanting to read A Night in the Lonesome October by reading a chapter a day during the full month! Just have to remember to check it out from my library before the month starts, which doesn't always happen for me. It turns out other people have that same idea, haha.
right haha! its a popular one. It is actually on archive.org where you can "virtually" check it out if you're okay not having the physical book.
@@lynnlouise ooh, thanks for the tip!
So glad this came onto my UA-cam recommended 🧡👻
Awe thank you ❤
Hi! I just subscribed!! and we have the same taste in classics horror books. I did add A Night in the Lonesome October. Thank you!
Thank you! ❤ it was such a great Halloween read. My edition has pictures to go along with it, and it was so much fun!
Love this! Definitely adding some to my TBR that I haven't read yet. The Cuthberts are actually brother and sister in Anne of Green Gables, I didn't know until I was like halfway through the book haha
Omg that completely slipped my mind! That means it’s definitely time for a reread 🤣
Great list! I've read all apart from Anne of Green Gables and Rebecca, i will have to get to them this fall!
Thank you! ❤ Anne of Green Gables was one of the first ever series I read! I love it. 🥹
