Watching this in 2024 after leaving last year after playing for 10+ years this makes me so sad the game use to be so incredible and so fun:( I remember playing everyday at school in the library when I was 12 with 7 of my friends for months until out school banned the game on the wifi was heart breaking 😂 till I got my first laptop I'd play for like 10 hours everyday with friends will on phone calls 😭 the memories man.. I just wish the developers didn't get so disgusting greedy and destroying the game with the shop and making it pay to win long live tanki 2017 ❤️‍🩹

I started playing in 2015, and back then I was only 9 years old, those were the best times

Prime Tanki was 2013/2014 IMO. No hovering hulls, no OP long range weapons, no drones or augments, no micro upgrades, no premium accounts…it was so simple yet so good. Most popular hulls were probably Viking, Mammoth and Hornet, now it’s full of f*cking hoppers everywhere. I don’t even see the point of using Mammoth anymore because you can die in 2sec anyways because of an OP augment. And I don’t even see some combos anymore, such as Rico/hornet, because this isn’t as effective as before now that hovering hulls are here (if you meet a hopper with ricochet and Helios and crisis you’re already dead).I was playing an assault game (in Berlin, so it was already full of gauss and magnum) and the defense side (us) was winning. Then a hopper uses his overdrive and capture the first flag of the game. Like really ? What’s the point of adding this ? I was in game where a hopper used his OD to get to a place where nobody could even kill him and he had vacuum magnum so obviously he had a lot of fun killing us all. What can I say…This is just unfair and makes no sense in this game, even though I know it isn’t supposed to be realistic, it just doesn’t match. But idk if players that played in 2012/2013 too got the same opinion as me.
