The ULTIMATE Egg box pour - FAIL turns into EPIC SAVE
Hello, FluidFusions family! 🎨✨
Today, I have a special treat for you. Watch as I attempt a unique fluid art pour using an egg box - and witness a fluid art fail that turns into an epic save!
Materials & Techniques:
Egg Box
🖌 Base Paint:
Titanium White from Artist's Loft
Mixed with Floetrol in a 1:2 ratio, plus a drizzle of water
🖌 Layered Colors:
Black, Gold (repeated twice for each color)
Phalo Blue, Orange, Phalo Green, Light Pink, Light Green, and Cadmium Red
Process:
While pouring, I realized the amount of paint on the canvas was insufficient for stretching. Initially, I thought I could add more base paint and start tilting, but I was worried it wouldn't work. In my attempt to save the failed pour, I poured again from the egg box, only to find it was nothing like I had planned. With difficulty moving the paint on the canvas, I added more base paint on the corners and stretched it as well as I could.
Join the Fun:
Try using an egg box in your next pour and tag FluidFusions on Facebook - I'd love to see how it turns out for you!

Thank you for the kind words about the design! I'll definitely work on making the visuals clearer, this time I did not notice that the lenses were smudged.

Wow that's beautiful
Your kind words mean a lot to me, thank you!
the marble is like professor Jones in Indiana Jones. The outcome of the movie would have been the same regardless of if he was in it or not.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's always fun to hear unique interpretations of movies.
👏🏽
Thank you! :)
WOWWW THAT CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY🤩👍👍👍
Awesome, glad you liked it!

I really love the metallics and how you used the marble to modify it and then tilting made it all come together. Very nice 😊

Beautiful colors! I love playing with metallics.
Playing with metallics is like adding a touch of magic to the creations!
. I love this@@FluidFusions
@@BrendaHunter-rl1ps thank you 😊
Tilting it ruined it. Made it like a regular pour. Mayb put more puddles over a colored background then jus keep it at the rolling marble stage untilted.
Thanks for the tip, I'll experiment with more puddles next time!
How rude! It beautiful! Artist works differently, Was looking at this with a few of my friends. We will not look at your video and will suggest others don’t either, you were very harsh. You do not criticize another artist to work…
I wasnt criticizing. Just thought it would look prettier with more puddles
@@saranevillerogueart9627 Sorry dear…but commenting that “ tilting ruined it “ were really harsh words! It’s just sad, that you don’t even recognize how harsh your comments were. Enjoy the rest of the day.
@@FluidFusionssome people are too frank with their personal opinions. I think it turned out Gorgeously!! Tilting it did not ruin it. It looks like marble!!
I love it. It’s beautiful!!!❤❤

I agree no details of what you are using , explain, please
Hi, I am sorry for the late response. Here are the details - I have also updated it in the video description. Please ask me if you need more information. Thank you for your patience. Paint Recipe: 1. Mix 1-part acrylic paint with 2 parts pouring medium (I have used US Floetrol). 2. Add a few drops of water if needed to achieve a smooth, honey-like consistency. 3. Mix thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps or bubbles. 4. For the Cell Activator that is used for the swipe - 1 part Amsterdam Black with 3 parts Australian Floetrol (do not add water to this!).
Why no details of what you are using? Not helpful for beginners. Please more information.
