Phenomenal light !
hello guys, help me.. how do i remove an alarm PL1017 (MAG UP/DOWN OVERTIME).? reset button has not helped. thank you in advance. anyone to offer me the procedures?
Looking forward to getting the two I ordered. I also have a Synergy 2, Synergy 2.5 and an FML. You do great work and prices are great.
Excellent flashlight, have been waiting for the pre-order. Was hoping the price was closer to the synergy 1. It’s more than double. I understand everything is getting expensive and there are still supply issues. Would be nice to know why is this more expensive other than material cost going up.
Unfortunately the raw material costs are 3x what they used to be 4 years ago when S1 first came out. This one also has the additional PCB in the cap, includes the Titanium clip and lastly the light and the clip are a more complicated machine taking nearly 2x the machine time to complete. Compared to 135 for the S1 BFG which is the closest to this light in comparison I think 185 is a good price all things considered.
@@b3nsb3nz Thats a big point which most people will not notice that the S1 came 4 years back, a lot changes over that much time.
Great little tutorial, easy job! Thanks!
I used to play auto off button on this machine while my friend run their machine.. Everytime the program hit M30 the machine will shutdown automatically.haha
I'm a literally brand new machinist, just bought my first machine (First V700 w/ 0i-MF) this is a very useful video, thank you
I wish you were still making these. Everything you make sells out, is there a technical reason you stopped making them or is it just not economical?
I hope you got a patent on that switch. Absolutely marvelous. This lamp should be in MOMA.
I tried, unfortunately after confirmation it was indeed a novel idea a provisional application for another idea "described" in a way that could describe my switch was found. Even though that switch didn't work like mine at all I was told I would likely need to appeal 2-3 times to finally get a patent through and the cost to do that would likely be over 30k. I decided it just wasn't worth it. The patent system wasn't made to help the little guy.
@@b3nsb3nz I'm sorry to hear that. It's absolutely brilliant. I tried to patent a few ideas and encountered similar problems and forecasts of massive $$$ outlay. My cousin also. Tinkerers are we, but not rich.
Oh my I wish I had seen these when you were making them. I need something like this so badly! I presume you fabricated/machined the clamps from scratch? I've never seen anything quite like them. Is that standard Loc-line?
Have you had good luck with that edge technology tool setter?
I have since sold this machine but I used that setter for 2 years and it worked great!
I use those edge technology height indicators also. They are really good. Worth the money.
I dont even have this flashlight yet, I still enjoyed watching and could appreciate the awesome design. You are an artrist with engineering skills. The flash light looks beautiful and sleek and its also designed elegantly from the inside for modifications or maintenance with the custom tool to unscrew = wow. Waiting for the next drop, will get the synergy 1 mostly.
Ben is this available??
Are you using Fanuc Super Cap to setup your tooling? Looks like you’re in a different screen of offsets which I tried to setup tooling there but it wouldn’t allow them to be set any place other than super cap and it wants a lot of detail for each tool.
To be honest I have no idea what super cap is, pretty sure this machine doesn't have it. I actually sold this machine some time ago, but kept these videos around for the new owner to reference.
@@b3nsb3nz I'm sure he is more than grateful to learn the absurd way of doing things. Super Cap is the newer control overlay geared towards dumbing down machinists. I'm sure you would find it handy.
This is so cool!
