Solidworks Revolve Error - "The Sketch is open, self-intersecting or intersects the centreline"
Переглядів 22 тис.4 роки тому
A common problem when trying to make Revolved Boss/Base or Revolved Cut Features is the Sketch Error, "The Sketch is open, self-intersecting or intersects the centreline". To fix this try: 1. Check that your Sketch isn't open. This means that you need one single, closed profile with no gaps or breaks. Try using an Extruded Boss/Base to check whether your profile is closed. If you can't Extrude ...
Render Tools Tab Missing in Solidworks

A missing Render Tools tab is a common problem when trying to create Photoview 360 renderings. To fix this try: 1. Right click on an existing tab on the Command Manager and make sure there is a tick next to the 'Render Tools' option. 2. If your Render Tools are greyed out, or you can't see the 'Render Tools' option then make sure the Add-In is enabled. To do this go to Tools-Add-Ins and then en...

It is incredible that you were able to cycle and hike in such sketchy weather conditions while remaining positive throughout. The only thing missing is a good companion to enjoy this with. All the Luck Johno. loved watching your trip.
thanks alot.
Really really enjoyed watching your video! Parts of it reminded me of riding in the Westfjords of Iceland. I am curious about the many tunnels you rode through. Are bikes not allowed in any of the tunnels or just the one you were arrested in. I rode through doznes of tunnels in crossing Europe and some allowed cyclist and some did not. :)
Thanks for your comment. Most of the tunnels allow bikes, as far as I know. It's just the long one that does. However - the conditions aren't the best for riding - there's no ventilation and the drivers aren't really used to bikes so they go very fast and close.
Thanks you
Great vid. Great intro track, love alexisonfire :).
Great vid . Solo hiker comes with risk esp you dun have a tracking beacon in case of emergency
This is brilliant...I just got back from cycling three weeks in Alaska from Anchorage to the Kenai Fjords NP to Homer and on the train from Seward to Anchorage and to Denali NP and Alaska is fantastic but I was always nervous because of the wild life. This is beautiful and I can deal with the rain and cold better than I can with Grizzlies. You did a fantastic job with this video. It is beautiful and I will make it there with my Velo Orange Neutrino Mini Velo. Cheers.

The stamps are famous and collectible. Have you seen there prison? I love the Faroe Islands. I can’t wait to go back.
Thank you very much. One minute into the video and I found out a solution 👍💖

purely amazing sir! brilliant!
Hi Johno, I am preparing to do the same amazing journey you did. where did you store your bike box and what month did you do this amazing tour?
Hey! It's a great place to ride around. The drivers aren't the most bike-minded, and the tunnels are a bit sketchy but the scenery makes up for it. I think I was there in July. The weather was pretty changeable but just make sure you have waterproofs and you'll be okay. You can store your bike box in the little shop in the airport. I think it was 50 krona, about 10 Euros. Good luck!
I just rechecked. It was 100krona. If you want to doublecheck that it's still possible then their email is fae-info@floghavn.fo Any other questions, just ask
Wowwwwww man ... Incredible.. Paradise... Brilliant viseo .. loved it.. How many days you spent and how much it all cost apart from flights.
The hazards of tunnels are slippy ground due to freezing ground water, not enough oxygen and carbon monoxide build up, fire safety, time to escape, in general avoidance of a traffic collision at all costs so in that case it's the motor traffic volume as well(it's the same reason why they don't allow lane change inside of a tunnel), and an annoyance but it's still nevertheless a concern is the visibility of the tunnel as tunnels without light tend to be pitch black and most cyclists don't have lights bright enough or let alone have lights during the day. On long bridges it's typically due to strong cross winds and if it's a causeway during storms the water might slash onto the road surface and making it ultra slippy. The deck surface of the bridge might be the reason as well. If it's a open gate bridge it's unsafe for bicyclists and motorcyclists as when it's wet motorists just hydroplane across and if one crash then they get violently cut up but the spikes. Let's imagine a bicyclist crashed on an important throughway of a tunnel or bridge. It might need to be closed and the economic costs there as well. The delay time to medical as you can't simply be airlifted etc... On a bridge such as a causeway there is also a risk of going airborne and going off the bridge but in a tunnel you might hit the wall quite hard which could or probably kill you. These are the reasons. Make sense?
16:18 there appears to be no vents in the tunnel so the concern might be venation and escape form fire. It's a undersea bridge so they can not simply drill a vent at the side of it to let let's say smoke out form a fire.
thank you
underrated video
You don t explain at all about overlapping lines and how to remove it !!!!!!!
Hi, often it's just a case of trail and error. What I usually do is right-click on any line, then choose 'Select Chain' and delete that chain. This should then allow you to see any remaining, overlapping lines. You can then press Ctrl-Z to undelete the chain, and then delete the overlapping lines manually.
Manchester? Surely that's a criminal statement for a Yorkshireman?! 😅😅
No one knows where Leeds is! Except the occasional taxi driver who tells me how far they have fallen
EXCELLENT!!! THANK YOU!!!
Lot of beautiful views, BUT DON’T DO THEM AS A SELFIES, you are blocking the view!

Awesome video bro❤
Hi Johno, an inspiring video. One piece of maybe obvious logistics to ask about. You say you cycled to Edinburgh airport, but how did you then pack your bike up? is there a packing service for such things? I'm considering a bike tour expedition, but I've never taken my bike to an airport. I get that I can pack it at home if I wanted to then get a lift there etc, but how did you do it?
Hi! I messaged a bike shop near the airport (there are a few fairly close, if you search for bike shops in Edinburgh) and asked if I could buy a spare bike box they had - just the cardboard ones that they get new bikes in. I can't remember if they actually charged me in the end but if so I think it only £10. Then I got a taxi to the airport with the box. It was tricky at first because the box was massive (he didn't have any smaller ones) and so it didn't fit into any of the standard Edinburgh six seater cabs (they all seem to use the same car model), but I was eventually able to get a people carrier on Uber that just about fit it in.
My heart always goes idle when I hear this. So lovely.. it takes myself away from myself. Thank you.
What a great video Johno, very well presented and great footage 🚴♂️ Cheers 👍
Cool shots
9:57 Don't know how a dynamic mirror can double a line but you solved my problem. Thanks Johno
The photo view 360 helped me. Thanks a lot
Location?
The trailhead is near the Dusan hotel, about an hour and half south of KL. If you Google B24 bomber crash, Malaysia, you should be able to find some GPX files of the exact location
Solidworks from 3D experience doesn't have photoview 360 :/
great
Yes mate. Lets do a ride!
Thanks for the detail!
what a beautiful country. Thanks for the video. u are so lucky to be there.I hope some day to visit there too 😍😍
Fantastic! Entertaining comments about the weather and your police experience
That's insane.
That was helpful, thanks
thank u
What a great video thank you for your positive attitude and smiles. Was it possible to camp each night or did you need to book/pre-book hotels? How many KMs a day did you do? On the return flight did you get another bike box?
Thanks! I camped most nights - but in official campsites, as I read that wild-camping isn't really allowed and people can be strict about it... but I think if you didn't have a bike then it would be okay as some parts are pretty remote. The weather was a bit wet at times, but not as bad as expected, and all of the campsites had inside areas where you could cook or hang out. The KMs per day was probably about 50-60km on average. For the bike box - you can leave it at the airport (just ask in airport information). I think it cost 100kr - about 10GBP.
@@johnoellison Was it necessary to book the campsites in advance?
The devil..they are worshipping the devil.sick
Amazing. Thanks for the video! Kudo's for your positive vibe despite the rain and the fog 🙂 I have been to the Faroe islands end October 2019 on my own. There was some snow on the top of the mountains. I often have thought about going back and explore the islands by bike. But the tunnels...... seem a bit dangerous to me.
I have read this in the bible
