yeah just checked docs that came with the game (at least for v1.2), says route 30 so that should be where it was

yeah I should have calm minded on some of the prior turns but honestly I'm so used to playing pokemon games where bosses don't use healing items at this point that when they do I always misjudge how many they have lmao but figured even if i shouldn't be in the situation may as well pray for the crit before i reset and it clutched it

Not too bad, I think Mako's team was kinda scary but I think there are more than four characters you can fight on the island for the preliminaries anyway so you could probably just skip him and fight someone else if you wanted. The more annoying thing is that the two rounds before Pegasus are randomly drawn from a pool of characters so you can't really prepare in advance by swapping team members or even just your lead/items

this thing carried me the whole game after evolving, I think it was basically the only thing I caught pre-gym 1 that I kept until the end of the game, loved using it

it's very weird because I think it's fine to do stuff like that where you deviate from the monotype if you have a good theme (like in Aaron's case I think adding rain for bugs makes sense, then since the room has rain throw in a Kabutops since it's insect-looking and then the only real weird thing is the Ludicolo) but Bertha's theme just seems to be stuff that's immune to Sandstorm either by type or Magic Guard so the Clefable and Zam just feel tacked on. I think part of it is also iconic Pokemon from Sinnoh E4 members just getting randomly shuffled around here (Bertha has Zam instead of Lucian, I can't even tell what the theme of Lucian's team is supposed to be, Flint stole Rhyperior for Bertha because he has a sun team kind of and that helps with one of its 4x weaknesses? I have no idea why he has a Rhyperior)

@@icewave_ EXACTLY! I loved that Arron had a kaputops in rain. His whole theme looked savanna like anyway. But Lucian with Dragonite is really awkward and I dislike it immensely

@@liquids_death2787 Yeah for sure, even if Bertha/Flint were kinda awkward in execution here I can at least see they were supposed to be based around the weathers, but it didn't seem like there was any real concept behind Lucian's team so he just kept half his Psychics and then the other half were just random good Pokemon that don't have any real reason to be there

Clefable was inserted there because it has Magic Guard which makes it immune to Sandstorm damage.

Did you do the postgame stuff? Once you beat the league the first time Silver should give you a ticket to the postgame area, once you resolve the final Team Phoenix plot there you're able to fight Gold, which will unlock Gym Leader rematches. After you beat all 8 leaders in order again, Clair will tell you the League has found a new champion and you can go rematch at that point.

@@s6mistakill110 I didn't try to get more than one but the docs that came with the game say "Apricotta Beach Event" for all three so I assume it's only the one that you pick?

imo Aron is pretty solid for both, while it didn't come up in this video in the second gym because of stuff like lucky critting the Sylveon part of the reason I restarted my original save before doing this playthrough was because I realized something like that would be pretty useful, although I did get past the second gym fine on my first run without it too. I've heard Fletchinder is also pretty good for gym 2 for being a fire type that can learn a steel wing TM you can pick up after the first gym as well. For Whitney the scary thing is the Swellow which is quad resisted on both STABs by something like Aron. You also get a Toxic TM in Goldenrod and I think can buy Protect TMs at the Department Store too, so you can do some Toxic stall stuff for her as well. (also for what it's worth if you're willing to use switch mode and/or use items in battle I think both of these get easier since I think at least part of the difficulty spike was because they weren't intended for set+no items which is what I play on but idk how you play)

Hey, not 100% sure on either question so would recommend checking with the mod creator to make sure (link to mod is in the description), but to the best of my knowledge: -Is the issue because you run the game on Mac differently than using Game.exe? In my case on windows I just downloaded the full mod from that thread's OP, and it was basically just a copy of Reborn E19 with some files modded, and it had its own separate save folder, and just ran the Game.exe in that folder, but I think the thread also comes with just the patch files. So I assume you could just make a copy of your Reborn E19 files and then replace just the files that need to be patched in that copied folder? -As for if it would impact an ongoing playthrough, story is basically the same aside from a couple legendary quests added late/postgame that you wouldn't have hit yet so I assume any story related event flags wouldn't cause issues, and battles can be toggled between vanilla and allgen in-game at any point so I assume that doesn't cause any issues either. But there are a couple added things like overworld events for some new gen starters or vendors for new items or tms and idk if trying to add those retroactively would cause any issues Again, I've only played this mod on windows from a fresh save so would recommend making backup copies of the saves and asking the creator in that thread if you're unsure, but hope this helped somewhat

silk scarf stab adaptability hyper beam is literally the exact same damage range as 4x ice beam, this pory-z just has the lowest spatk and low rolled but this is such a weird thing to be upset about either way

@@icewave_ 256 steps for 100% +1 happiness. I’ve tested this with Pichu after 38,400 steps (+150 happiness) which took ~ 2hr 53min. 1 🍬 and Pichu evolved.

Minimum run/walk for 37,888 steps ~ 2 hrs 51 min (+148 happiness) and one level (+2 happiness). This works 100%. A trainer can split the task in # days (whether day or night) all steps are recorded internally. On all friendship pokemon having 70 base upon capture.

Creator changed all of the route encounter tables. Most routes have something like 12 possible encounters in grass, which is usually a mix of things you normally can get there in vanilla Platinum, some more common new Pokemon and then some rare 1% encounters like Riolu/Togepi/Eevee etc to get them way earlier than normal

there was a period of a few months a couple years ago where I was playing different hacks and at some point had to force myself to not use Houndour because I had used it like 3-4 playthroughs in a row I love this dog

@@PaladinYT honestly wouldn't be surprised if part of why I use houndoom in so many casual runs is literally just due to only really being able to use it for a good chunk of the game in platinum as a kid so when I get it early in a hack I still go "gotta use the cool dog now that I finally have a chance to " even though basically every other hack gives me that chance lmfao
