Modern Minimal UI Sounds Demo
Minimalistic UI sounds adhering to the freedesktop naming standard, made in REAPER using the Vital VST. This is meant to be a drop-in replacement for the default Ocean theme on Plasma 6.
These sounds are designed for use with compatible Linux desktops, namely GNOME and KDE Plasma 6+. Feel free if you would like to use them on Windows and the like, however you will have to manually select the sounds in the settings as I will not be providing a .bat script for that.
Download the sounds here on pling: www.pling.com/p/2225430/
Detailed installation instructions available on Github: github.com/cadecomposer/modern-minimal-ui-sounds

How I Set Up Realtime Audio in Fedora Linux
Переглядів 2 тис.Рік тому
hi everyone!! i made this video because wanted to compile all of the information that i found to get my system up and running for realtime audio, using fl studio on linux with wine-tkg, pipewire and wineasio, as well as setting up rtcqs and yabridge! if these words are gibberish to you i apologize... i mostly just made this because i had a hard time finding all of this information in one place ...

hi hello there here is another edited botb vlog, very soon after the last one i know! these are very time consuming to edit so please do not expect these on a consistent schedule ahaha i might make another channel to just upload the uncut ones before editing them, and just edit the ones that i think are worth editing, we will see i tried using kdenlive to edit this time, it works quite well but...

Here's something people don't tell you! After you loop one of her songs for the 15th time, you get an autism diagnosis for free!!
The gently sobbing at Mapplethorpe before immediately going back to straight vibes is very accurate
damn pls upload the tracks separately it would go so hard
they're uploaded individually to YT under a music distributor
love how you just played the outro of i haven't died, implying the reaction was the culmination of the entire song prior
Ableton live 12, Bitwig, Logic. Not free.
you can do microtonal tuning in external VSTs like Vital, Surge XT, Dexed, etc, so any DAW should work for this! if you want to use a free DAW you can try Ardour or LMMS, there's also freemium ones like Traction (haven't used these all that much sorry, you may have to do your own research to find which one works best for you). REAPER which I used in this video also has a very generous evaluation license that lasts for 60 days, but they let you continue using the software after that for as long as you want (it's basically like WinRAR)
I really understood very little, almost nothing. I am a Linux novice and I feel that this tutorial is for experts. I am frustrated not to find anything that is useful for my level of knowledge.
yeah it's understandable, I'm sorry this wasn't very helpful for you. I really should get around to making a more well-thought-out and scripted version of this video that is actually more helpful. to be honest half the reason I made this was so I wouldn't forget how I configured everything in my setup, I didn't expect so many people to find it :p
SO TRUE, this kind of variety is the reason my distracted ass actually managed to listen to her entire discography
saame and you know what, i could make a whole second part to this with completely different albums, and it would still fit perfectly
Just remember, kids - cool sounds don't make good music... only hard work and the free play of genuine imagination do...
Yes lol, microtonal music is like playing a super op character but that's low on health so it's actually really hard
It sound a lot like Windows 8 and 10. Good job m8.
1:13 true...
Soooooo good
sorry if the recording is a bit stuttery >.< AMD APU + OBS + Linux not the best combo for screen recording... but it works i guess
As someone who has recently listened to her entire discography: Yeah
woah dude this is amazing
Pretty good stuff, my best luck for you bro! 🫂
Thank you UA-cam for this heavenly recommendation

don't you mean DEDGDEDCEGEOGCGHCOCTOHOTHTHT
@@cadmium.8376 You're right I did mean DEDGDEDCEGEOGCGHCOCTOHOTHTHT
Great video and links!
Are the tracks without tunings listed in 12edo?
yurp
there is no way that not all music in this video is microtonal
sorry I failed ye 😭 nah but most of the music in this video is from my battleofthebits page
YouFeeAreIrr
Holy shit this is great!!!
Whoa :D
Cool cool. I was looking specifically for how to tune to 19-EDO in Surge XT but this was good. The search continues.
in case you haven't found it, or for future reference: you can export .scl file with sevish scale workshop like I show in the video, then in surge xt click the menu on the bottom right, then tuning, then load .scl tuning hope that helped if you needed it ☺️
@@cadmium.8376btw You can skip importing files in the tuning settings, There's a generator that can quickly generate whatever edo you type in. There's an export button too so it's like a simple scale workshop. 🙂
@@KippyzKeystone oh that's cool i didn't know that! i don't know much about surge xt to be honest. i should use it more...

hey there, thank you so much, but ive already done some of this steps, but when rebooting, launching rtcqs in console, settings tweaked before return to warning status =( i don´t know why, im currently running fedora JAM 40 with kde plasma ver. 6.1.4, this is my first day using Linux BTW, Thaaaaaaaanks.
great guide! I managed to get everything working including the wineasio activation, however i have FL studio installed through lutris. I got the wineasio 32 and 64 files. though not sure where to put them in from the lutris games folder that has FL studio c drive ect.
also just realized its already installed in the lutris folder. though not seeing the wineasio in and out for some reason.
you are so cool man
Thanks! Love your music to death.
you are so cool man
Thanks a lot!!
Beautiful✨
I approve this visualizer 👍👍
so pretty love it
delicious
this just showed up in my feed rn, gonna hear it and reply if i like it.
forgot to say, i downloaded it just to listen to it on my way to school. its hella good
you have saved my life!!! i was getting this awful stutter problem in my reaper media explorer and i followed this vid and its all fixed. Instant sub brother!
I would like to give a try Fedora for my music production, from Debian. Is it better Nobara or Fedora it self?
Nobara is very beginner friendly compared to a lot of distros. there's many versions of it through kde plasma and gnome or nvidia gnome 39 and its upgradable to Nobara 40.
I love it, track 14 made me fly wthhh incredible 🔥
Cool recommendation.
Amazing music
