I grew up living next door to Alison in East Doncaster in the 70s she was friends with Mum and Dad and The Parties were insane at her place, it was a whos who rocking up, we also got to know John and Jill, Olivia Newton John as they all lived in the area amazing times indeed.

Ooof, synching issues between audio and video. Don't know if it's me or the video itself. Could easily be my end, but letting you know just in case.
My favourite song of his, I also remember when he lived in Berwick on Ernest Wanke
Good oldie go Jamie.❤😅

Ray Brown was underrated.
Not by me. I saw him live at least 8 times and he and his band were so damn good.
Wow! Eight times. You got around. It’s hard to say exactly what it was. I guess his great voice, his talented band, and the selection of songs and the interpretations. But you would know better than me.
@@neilhill4446 He played at the old Surf City Club in Kings Cross many times alongside Billy Thorpe, Ray Hoff and three little boys named then Barry Gibb and The Bee Gees. There was also Digger Revell, Col Joye, Johnny Rebb and most of the big bands then played there. The number of young birds there was amazing and they were all dressed up to the nines unlike todays tarts.
Yeah, there was that rivalry with Billy Thorpe. I really appreciated Billy Thorpe then and later, but Ray Brown’s sound attracted me more then. Thanks.
Toller Song ❤️
Awesome! He can't dance for $hit and doesn't look that great, but What a Voice and What a Song. Congrats WS. One of my all time favourites.
Such a great song.
Este temón de Paper Lace fue el mejor hit en 1974, en la emisora radial de Lima :1160.
This man departed to Heaven way too young.
