I love Over the Hill myself - even though it's a shame we never got to see Sir Robert Norramby's Railway Museum concept come to fruition due to Mattel, Ian McCue and crew greenlighting BWBA. And we instead of a technology fair w/ all these slapstick shenanigans that feel out of place in Thomas. As for Christmas Coffeepot, it's not bad - but I give it a 6/10 due to it being a rehash of Hero of the Rails. A better idea to fix it is maybe instead of Marion believing Glynn as a talking tree - perhaps she instead digs away the branches out w/ her shovel and the two introduce themselves. Glynn was worried STH would find out and send him for scrap, and Marion shunted him out of the way to the yard and promised not to tell anyone. However, she accidentally blurts out to Thomas the next day, he stops her and says he actually knows Glynn explaining the events of TAB and assures Marion that STH would never scrap his engines (we don't need the older characters like him to fear of it - instead have the newer characters be more naive and worried). The two tell STH, and is delighted to see Glynn. He then calls Sir Robert if he is interested in buying him which he agrees and the rest plays out as normal.

I know this was an OLD video and I know opinions are subject to change (I know I have when it comes to rewatching certain episodes), but some parts that TheUnluckyTug I do agree could've been a bit better b/c looking back on Diesel's Ghostly Christmas - I gave it a 6.5/10. I see the potential to be a great Thomas Christmas Carol adaptation. However, it misses the marks of making it more darker, bringing in actual ghost engines and to bring back the Smelter's Yard too. W/o them, it makes the experience feel more neutered down than pushing the boundaries like the original show used to back then w/ the Classic Series when they are not afraid to be more daring. Nowadays, especially for the remainder of the show, they never do the whole 'playing w/ tone' stuff due to corporative mandates. I prefer Duncan the Humbug more since it has a few tidbits to said-novel, but is more original at the same time (and LizProductions5784's adaptation too). And also, I cannot stand Kerry Shale's Diesel voice cause it doesn't fit the devious and cynical character that he once was (like how Ringo Starr once did along w/ George Carlin and Michael Brandon) and I do wonder if this was based off of Michael Angelis' stereotypical voice he gave to the character. However, there are a few goods in it like the animation, the humor and the recreated flashback to Diesel Does It Again. Also, I think Diesel should've said "God Bless Us Everyone" like the end of Christmas Carol did rather than just "Merry Christmas Everyone".
