Salutations! Ouch what an intro. Let me share something with you! I'm a really successful Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Player. I did all the Lethal Operation weeklies so far. You might have 0 clue what I am talking about but its something i take pride in and its kind of hard to give up now. HOWEVER! Today after dying repeatedly for 1 hour straight (the run takes about half an hour i could not survive for more than 5 minutes) i decided not to torture myself anymore. This weeks weekly is absurd and is just not worth my time. It is hard but I need to stay strong! So stay with me brother. Play something you enjoy. Be kind to yourself and remember that playing games is supposed to be fun. So if this run does not go well, play something you enjoy. See that game being advertised in the bottom left corner. It is amazing. If you did not try it out yet, try it! But! FTL is a legendary game so i understand you might not want to give up just yet but if it does not click it does not click that is fine :). You got things going nicely in this run, If you still do want to at least finish this run I agree with what people have said. Cloak is probably necessary for the starting ship run victory. Congratulations on picking it up! Use it though, any time you avoid the damage by using it you are saving up some nice cash :). Be greedy collect as many upgrades as you can, try out some new strategies. Did you try out the boarding strategy yet? It is hard to pull of but once you get a couple of really strong mantises going you will be getting way more resources by capturing ships. it is an investment though. Very strong against the boss though. I would probably not risk this run on something you do not have experience with though. How is your boss game btw? How often do you reach it? I see that you greed out the sectors as much as you can. Great job that is really important. Good luck! Damn.. you made me want to play FTL again. Hehe. Cheers!

Playing the game in daytime makes a lot of things easier. You can switch day/night in your tool bar. Revelo will show you what you need to "find" for Merlin trials. Always ask for additional fees, the money tends to be good, and people (mostly) gladly pay it. They may grumble a bit, but they will pay it.

To access your potions and plants, hold down the L1 trigger and it will pull up your potions wheel and you can toggle to which one you want to equip. Once equipped, to use the potion or plant, just tap on the L1 trigger.

You're so new to the game! I hope you're enjoying it. You can go into any shop at night time, the one you happened to select just happened to be off limits until you have your broom flying class. Also, to change from night to day, go to your map and hold down either R3 or L3, I can't remember which one ATM. But when you do that, the game asks you if you want to fast track time or not. Very useful for a specific side quest later on.

you totally missed out, getting the ogres to fight for you is awesome. You just lie and promise them a bunch of money but never pay them lol. They give you a horn and you blow it and they appear and become the focus of a bunch of enemies.

I think the recycling silos are meant to pull buildings closer to rivers for loading docks, you normaly only need to use the excavator once in the tutorial area where you began since no rivers are close by, also your map spawn is a little unlucky here.
