Dude did most of the work b4 the video start😢
Choke cable
As a 1977 FLH owner/rider for 35 years, this was hard to watch LOL. Should have used Blue Loctite for every nut. Should have used a round and a locking washer to hold dash down as well as a single drop of blue loctite. Should have sprayed cable lube down into the speedo cable while you had access to it. I think that you inserted the speedo rubber mount pins the wrong way. I believe pushing them down and installing c-clips on the bottom is the way to go since if the clips ever fall off, the pins will be held in place by gravity, at least until the bike stops LOL. I suspect you lost that chrome acorn nut a week later. Milwaukee Vibrators.
Damn this video makes me sea sick 🤢
How much oil did you use?
Donde esta tu proyecto ahora???
question do you remember how many wire came off your headlight? I just picked up a 1977 FXE super glide Shovelhead, I want to change the head light, but every head I see has 3 wires mine has about 5 coming off the headlight?
Q paso?
What kind of filter does it take?
Brother I wanted to ask you where did you get your custom oil tank from? And brother I don't remember ever writing that comment about the lighting being bad in your video, the lighting is just fine in your video, I wouldn't have sent that! I hope my freaking account has not been hacked!
Dude you really need some lighting in that video, I can barely see what you're doing...
aye bro do you live in southern California?
Took me 5 hours with a impact to remove the exhaust flanges on my bike
I think you can get the foam at the hobby stores. It's used for shoving fake flowers into.
You are going to leave us hanging? Are you ok? What does the bike look like now?
Don't change the oil tank and battery location. I hope you decided against this.
Why did you put new shocks on it?
What does it mean "mocking up the frame"?
You're stalling so you don't have to remove those exhaust screws.
Use an EZ-out
dice don jaime que se la pelan
Check Your Ground Wire
You say your missing the bolt that hold the cover down but it actual a nut your missing not a bolt
Ppl like you that thanks thay no everything pain in the ass
Were did u get the clocks from
Wow dude, so much rambling and no "show n tell. Little less talking n more actual "show n tell" as you build the damn seat! Very boring..
What kind of blocks are those ? and what did you use to sand them ?
RyrderD-75 got the same question about the kind of foam blocks
How many Cortes does it take?..
After draining 2.6, after oil filter change 2.9
Badass series man, helped me out of a jam today when I was working on mine. Keep up the good work
Gotta come back and finish this build man. I am very curious to see how you mounted that LED brake light into your frame hoop.
It is a seat. Not a she, or her. It is a thing, not a person.
Where do you get those foam blocks please??
Is there a part 31?
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Oh thats what its called a rear hoop lol
Does anyone know what that seat thing is called the bar that has a hole that you can put an led strip on for your rear light
you need to make the hole after bending the pipe...
You can buy them just like that
Do you have a link for the loop that you used with the led strip cutout?
The Rotor bolt on my 1997 Yamaha XJ600 needed a Rotor Holding Tool, and a 2 ft Bendy bar to unscrew, it was soooo tight, just waiting for the Rotor Extractor......
that weld job looks really good after you grinded it down.
Hi, why no more video of the cafe racer build?? Was looking forward to seeing how it had gone.
nice overall shape very good job..
where did you get your hoops? thanks!
+Dulguun Enkhsaikhan I got my hoop and LED light from Cognito moto.
where did you get those control, turn signal and kill switch? thanks
+Dulguun Enkhsaikhan I got all the controls and switches from Dime City Cycles.
Did you ever finish the fiberglass?
+David Sierra I am done with the fiberglass work i just have to do some sanding and the seat is good to go. Its looking great so far.
are you going to be posting the fibre glass video?
hey man, i just bought a 1975 cb750f and your videos are going to be a big help down the line so thanks!
Would this work on any bike?
+McMuffinFluffin This should work on most bikes you just have to make sure what size tubing you need. on my bike its a 1 inch tubing.
very nice. where did you get the metal seat hoop loop and LED from MotorRider
+jay b I got the rear hoop and LED from Cognito Moto
Nice bike good video. I have an 87 Heritage Softail Custom FLST/C that I purchased new and have always wrenched on it. A few pointers for you. I notice you get you nuts and bolts terminology mixed up but I know what your talking about. The speedometer nut when I first removed it I had the same problem but I never removed the tanks. I only had that happen once then I wrapped the cable below the nut in black electrical tape and it is still there today to keep the nut from falling in thru the frame hole. The black rubber that you lost I usually glue those in place with an epoxy and never worry about them again. and last I am not sure what a magnet would do if you drop the e-clips or anything that small between the tanks because unless it falls to the floor your not going to find it because the magnet is going to attach itself to the motor and tanks and what ever else. Those small items go to the Harley burial ground once they are blown out on the road. Those e-clips are a bitch, I am currently replacing the dash mounting base because my light sockets were corroded and one had pushed through. I also lost one of the e-clips as I have many in the past. Looking on Ebay I seen the pin and the clip was 9 bucks and J&P they were 4 bucks with 8 bucks shipping. After an auto parts and an implement store I finally found the e-clip at a local hardware for 20 cents each. Tip of the day. I was having problems with the fitment on my mounting base and ran across your video. The base kit is made by Drag Specialties but never came with any instructions and a whole lot of hardware, shims, ect. I have it all wired now I just need to fine tune it. Keep it in the wind and the shinny side up brother. .... Gonzo
+politeforce Thanks for the helpful advise. I am learning a lot working on theses old bike. Thats how i started one day i hade a problem with my bike so i took it to the closest Harley dealer and they said that dont work on shovels. So i stared doing research and working on it myself.
Awesome videos so far!! I just purchased my first project bike 1980 cb750. So you probably talked about in a video somewhere. Did you end up changing your front end? My bike has dual front brakes but the springs are shot I think. So I'm debating whether to just change the springs or just change anything in the front
+Jason Francia Congrats on your first project bike. I didnt change my front end. I just rebuilt the front forks. I might add another front brake so i will have duel front brakes. I would recommend changing the front spring if it needs it. it will be a much more enjoyable ride.
I have that same motorcycle jack. Make sure to strap ur bike down. One of my bike fell over once 😠
Thanks for posting this. Wasn't sure if you could use a puller or not on the basket.
Eydugstr Thanks for watching the video. I am glad it helped.
