And he can leap buildings in a single bound.
Great time-lapse video and the music goes really well with it.
Hi what airplane are you building
Gooooooood nice
What plane is this?
Hurry up more more more
are you fn serious?
they are rebuilding the Avro Arrow. something that has not been done since 1958. this is both historic and exciting. I just hope they finish before they run out of funding. LET THE ARROW SOAR AGAIN!
yowie zowie ! I still cannot imagine doing all this work and not protecting the aluminum from corrosion with zinc cromate.. I know nobody does it.. but its worth it to triple the life of the airplane
How do buck the skin
maybe tell us a few details..size , weight limits..brand, cost..anything
Badass!
Oh shucks! That narrow door!
Amazing Job. Do you have video of the finished 'REAL' plane?
all i see here is alot of drilling and clecos. can we get the rest?
I could put a camera in there too if that's what you're into Strega?
He did not once need to use the bathroom?
Only goes to show how much time you can save with a predrilled kit...... I can never understand why everything just isn't riveted up first time!!!! I've helped fit new wing mount angles to a Noorduyn Harvard, 1941 vintage, using bits from a Texan.... drill and saw required.....the angle had to be drilled through the skins... took 8 weeks.... the Cleco's just fell off when riveting, so nuts and bolts were used to locate everything. Also seemed to be a standard repair method!!
alone in a small garage with bad lighting?
This is how humans will work in the future
he seems to like taking thigs off and putting them on again
can you show me again in slow motion i missed a bit
How many hours of work is this in real time?
You missed a spot.
the little fuel tank going in and out over and over, haha, made me chuckle
teach more ways brotha!
Context! What is it?
you forgot to build in the control wire and the cable loom.... LOL
Do you have the final result?
A good process is the key, whatever: fucking leading edge!
Good work rate...Do you charge by the hour?
Nice!!
is this being built in a self storage garage? good video none the less.
reminds me of Ikea furniture assembling :P
Hi. I was wondering if when building a plane do you have to acid etch? Also what is skinning?
worlds smallest workplace
I like the part wihere his old lady comes in and yells at him to "pick up the pace".
Probably better lay off the caffine for awhile.
building the aileron =3 days installing the trim tab=3 weeks
tons of rivets
awesome Mate...!!
is this what they call riding the rails
very clean and organised work environment, clearly paid attention to detail. OMG, how many rivets ? RV ? What's your wife think ? lol !
nice
great tempo. thanks for sharing
sorry no, I don't want to get my camera covered in primer
do you have any videos on how to prime the parts? what kit is it?
Thanks sche1nz, I'm doing the wings now
Thanks sche1nz, I had a little disaster moment when I disassembled the aileron only to find the drill had wandered when drilling one of the ribs, but luckily the ribs weren't expensive so I replaced that one and another one which could have been better
no it's a 601 I think they're very similar though, good guess!
Nice job!
