It's Rodeo Time Again! / Breakaway Roping
Переглядів 1,7 тис.16 годин тому
The rodeo videos are hard to edit due to all the music played at the event. I do apologize for the crazy music in this video. I had to make some last minute changes( due to UA-cam request) so the video would't be blocked from certain areas of the country. Thank you everyone for understanding. Larissa and Sport are really doing well. This was their second Rodeo and I could't be more proud. If yo...

Bringing Home Our Wild Mustang Yearlings
I've never seen this but I remember hearing about a Kentucky broodmare with a similar issue, this was back a couple decades at least. It was due to a spinal issue, she had a badly roached back and could only turn in circles. The farm built her a specialty paddock with no corners because she would get stuck in them since she could only turn one way and crab walk. I can't remember which farm it was but maybe see if your vet could reach out to some of the major thoroughbred vets out there? I don't recall that they were able to reverse the damage but they kept her comfortable and healthy for some time. It's heartening to hear he is getting better, it may be that the anti-inflammatories are helping. Best wishes.
Yeah I’ve read it can be neurological or from a bad injury or disease. I believe we have found the problem. It wasn’t looking good for a little bit for him but he is actually making progress. He is on anti-inflammatories , pain meds and high dose of vitamin E . It’s a sad prognosis and from what my vet says it’s usually permanent. Ugh 😩 Thank you so much for watching 😊
Why do both female riders have male voices? Welcome to A.I.!! 😮
...can't BELIEVE the bay did not KICK !!
She is a good mare! Plus these two horses are pasture mates
Nice
Thank you
Animals are 100% better than us humans.
Totally agree
❤❤😂😂
Una pregunta de qué color capa es el caballo gris smoke black??? O Perlino ??
Hilarious 😂
Why do people ruin good videos with loud and annoying music. Fucking generation tiktok
Horses are such beautiful creatures. I have loved them all my life!
Me too! Horses are so special
♥️
She scratched the paint!

Dash cams people!
IKR 😂
💯😊👍
Why were they separated to begin with ? I hope they will be together daily and not just for a short period. 😢
Extra comment: Applause at working to keep horses even after their technical "usefulness" is over. So kudos to you!!!!! I don't throw mine away either. We are an old folks home here now with myself & both my boys.
Well thank you so much!! I feel like I’m running a horse nursing home some days lol. These guys deserve a soft landing and to enjoy their last years
Love and friendship are not unique to humans.
I have 2 older Icelandics. One is almost 30 years old. This Spring one had a back leg that couldn't pick up. Had to cancel hoof trimmers. Called vet out. If tried to pick up hind leg then horse would nearly fall over sideways rotating away. Vet said was a locked up stifle & not uncommon in horses with arthritic joints. He had the vet tech lean against horse on other side then vet was able to get leg up & unlock. Patella in knee joint gets locked up (stifle = knee). Told me can use Butazone on his bad days. Can try product from Australia called 4Cyte that has clinical trials showing may help. Also Platinum brand Joint Glucosamine (MSM). There are also injections can try, but are "expensive". He wouldn't say how much, but made a bit of a face. So far we are doing okay with light movement being out in yard (sometimes need grazing muzzle due to insulin resistance issues on grasses) & use Bute sparingly. As you no doubt know, Bute is a blessing & a curse for such things. Took him a month or so, but he is now tolting when excited to get out again. -- So kind of think I had something like this with my 25 year old Icie. Both have arthritis. My 30 year old has bad knees. Harder to do hoof trim etc. -- I should do some videos on this topic too (been long time since did a video) & also about what I'm doing on feed for them. Using lots more wet mash type feeds and smaller meals vs bigger meals. Being thinner is probably in his favor, as less weight on the legs. He has figured out how to stand and move with a bad back knee. Takes time to heal if he pulled something in there. Never heard of that lotion. Mine was not a strain / sprain, but locked up. Thankfully that worked itself out & not had happen again, but both have arthritis & won't be young again. Seeing horses with problems & helping them age is really hard emotionally. So... feel ya on this!!! -- By the way, I love your braid in your hair. I used to have long thick hair, but I'm old now. ;-) Everything gets old!
Thank you so much! That is so awesome that you’re helping these older guys age with grace. I really hope yours continues to do well . You’re exactly right about being on the leaner side being actually a good thing for weight bearing. I have been thinking about going to small meals through out the day instead of twice a day feeding. That’s a great idea. The blue lotion is amazing. I even use it on my hands and my daughter uses it on her shoulders after a long day of roping. You can buy it on Amazon . Aww thank you 😊. My hair is so thick that putting it up gives me a headache so I try to braid it on hot days lol! Aging is definitely not for the faint of heart . I really appreciate your kind words and for being apart of this UA-cam journey with me. 😊
Also yes please make a video and let me know when you do . I would love to learn more about what your going through with your babies
Actually all living beings remember
Hoping only the best for Coolman. I'm sure you will do what's best for him as the days move along❤❤❤
@@janicewink4614 Thank you so much for the kind words ! It’s been a roller coaster journey and a lot of tears so far! Thank you for watching 😊
I hope they get to see one another often!
They see each other every day
Yay! 💕
"l hear you ,oh my, l can't wait to see you, is that really you? Hurry up sir, l have to get out & see him! Oh yes ,there you are, & l have missed you too!"🏇🏼🍎🥕
That's a baby tail wtf
These videos really let you know how much people actually suck. Animals are the only beings that understand the true value of love.
I rescued a mare about 6 months ago that has been the light of my life since and she was alone in her dirt paddock in the middle of houses for years when the ladies other horse died 😢. So happy she can be with horses now!
That is so awesome of you.. I hope ya'll have many happy years together
Men always remember they pretty ladies they meet.
Damn onions! Always with the damn onions!
Aw that is so sweet ❤
@@Kathleen-r6j Thank you 😊
This is beautiful!! 🐎💖🐎 The music overrides the horses conversation 🎶🎶🎶 a little lower please 😊
The music is really distracting. Why have it?
Lose the music.
Why is that horse wearing that weird head gear?
@@helenadoherty5763 It’s a fly mask. It keeps the flies out off his eyes . He can still see
I swear some horses don't realize there is anything behind their front legs.
Horses should never be alone
Such beautiful creatures. A loving gift from the Almighty Father for our benefit emotionally, physically and morally to work the earth under our domain.
Amen ❤️
Lol
Awwww ❤ melts my heart ❤️
Horses aren't meant to be solitary animals..... they thrive in herds...
They are so amazing and intelligent.❤
