      I joined Ramadan, because I wanted to feel what it was like. An experience I will never forget.. I fasted for 2 weeks. (no drinks, no food, nothing.)

      By kilograms. There is a way you can still calculate this (if you use pounds). Just type in google: pounds to kg and enter your pounds and then use the kg.

    yo ik ben 1m84, 71kg, en eet nu ongeveer 3500kcal per dag, denk je dat dit volstaat of moet ik het nog omhoog brengen.

      Belangrijk is het eigenlijk om een soort wekelijkse gemiddelde in te zien. Als jouw gewicht schommelt over de week heen zal ik even wachten tot het een beetje rond om een bepaald gewicht hangt (dat kan elk gewicht zijn). En als dat zo blijft zou ik lekker verhogen. Succes 🍀

      @@Quintren Dankje man, ik ben sinds 4 maanden geleden aan het bulken, en de eerste 3 maanden was ik telkens 2 kg per maand bijgekomen. maar sinds de laatste maand gaat het wat stroever omdat ik denk ik ook meer verbruik door school. heb het dan wat omhoog gehaald maar weet niet hoeveel genoeg is maar dat kan ik inderdaad best gewoon checken door te zien of ik bijkom met wat ik nu eet. Dankjewel voor het advies

      @@bowelhunteruzumaki8798 heel netjes dat je al wat mooie kilos bent aangekomen! bedoel jij in dit geval dat het door “school” komt omdat je meer stappen maakt? Ook zou ik vaak een schatting maken van 200-500 cal om toe te voegen. Dit bespreek ik ook in een recente video: “how to get shredded”. En denk vooral ook aan je slaap, want als jij slaapt verbrandt je ook minder dan dat je wakker bent.

    I take some carbs before bed, not ideal but I sleep well, make me look less shredded (a bit of fat) but I just want to be stronger, so working on that. Plus it's winter now so the extra fat helps keep warm.

      In every meal it is "required" to have some carbs. Also carbs don't make you look less shredded, except if you don't burn those carlories (otherwise proteins would make you look fat too). Carbs give extra energy for training and will not make you stronger (training will). If being stronger and looking shredded is your goal, then I advice you to do powerlifting in combination with body building.

    So proud of you dude, i am too skinny trying to bulk up and get stronger train 4 days a week, im only 108 pounds but 6 foot 1 at age 17, any good tips that helped you along the way?

      Thank you❤️ Very good that you made a step towards body building! 4 days a week is very good to start with. Tips i can give you are: 1. Don’t be afraid to ask anyone about how they perform an exercise. 2. NUTRITION IS KEY 🔑 3. All the time u have on a day, try to invest it in yourself.       I used to eat 5200 calories a day. Right now I am in my maintain phase 4400 cals. Rest days is in general different. How much do you eat?

    Good work Quinten! I have been working out for years. Had my bad times of drinking. Learned about protein a few years ago but working out harder for the last 8. Keep at it. Protein is very important and just like you said most people just don’t get it. Saw an older friend at the store shopping with hand held basket. Asked him where his protein was and he said at home, it’s peanut butter. There’s no talking to someone like that but I will always try my best.

We should just invest our time in our selves and show what potential people could have. Also some people are lost in nutrition, just like I was.       @@Quintren when I was little we ate whatever. Very little protein at dinner and Sunday breakfast. I always saw my fatty belly. As a teen got my own weights and tiny bench. Worked out after school and sometimes after work. Was not into bodybuilding and knew nothing of nutrition/ I must have looked good when my dad said I should be a boxer. I know I had built my chest but all I can remember. No photos sadly.
