I support the notion to listen to the songs FIRST and then watch the animatics of that saga later because each creator has their own interpretations of the songs, and can change your opinion of things.

I don't think it's very clear in the music, but the first soldier to die (I don't know if you recognized his voice) is Polites (the one singing in Open Arms). Also, at the end of Remember Them, the Cyclops is smiling because now he knows Odysseus' name and in My Goodbye Athena is visibly hurt by the "you're alone" line (official stage directions) "I want Zeus to come back" this line has never been spoken by someone with knowledge of the Greek mythology lol

I'm torn because on the one hand, if you don't know much about Greek mythology you should watch the animatics (Zeus should have been immediately recognizable by the sound of thunder and an eagle) but there's so few reactions of people who only listen to the music that yours is welcome Edit: the solution is to listen to the song first THEN watch the animatics!

Some background about the recording and release of these songs. Not sure if you already knew this. So the first 2 sagas had to be rereleased because the first recording studio he was with initially didn’t compensate/give him his royalties. He had to file a lawsuit for that. Then he went on to create his own recording studio Winion Entertainment (Based of the little gremlins in Open Arms) He and his Dad built a studio in his home to record the rest of the sagas.

I'm voting for you to react to all animatics, not just your favorites! But in the end, I still prefer the audio first. Is it possible that you can put your reactions of the animatics in between Sagas for the audio you've already listened to? So, since you've listened to Troy and Cyclops, you can react to those animatics. I can't wait to see your reaction to the next Saga, it's one of my favorites. I've learned some new words and meanings today; I don't think any reactor I've watched ever mentioned that "die" stretch. I didn't know it had a word for it. Now I'm curious as to why he chose it. I also didn't peep the way the instruments dropped when he called her alone and it left with just Athena's piano. I swear I'm always learning something new! I will say though, out of the Cyclops Saga, the newer version isn't as good as the older one as far as the Polyphemus, if only with the pitch for the Cyclops, who is indeed voiced by Jorge. Your mythology is great, and I appreciate the effort you're putting in to learn as you go! Your vibes are awesome.

I think it’d be great for you and viewers if you listen to one saga and then watch the animatics for that saga before moving on to the next. It allows you to really listen and picture it yourself before seeing it visualized.

Hi, I just wanted to say that the animatics do give a lot of context since it's a concept album and not yet a stage show or series or movie.

Try the animatics for the next saga since it's a bit action packed that'll help you visualize and at the same time it'll help you decide if you want to keep going purely audio or go with the animatics

Animatics 100% I mean when the creator even commissions them you know they should be watched and supported

I HEAVILY recommend you watch animatics for the future sagas. They give much more context to events and story beats

I loved your reaction!!! I absolutely love when people listen to the music first! Don’t get me wrong, I adore the animatics with all of my heart but there are quite a few different interpretations for the songs among different artist and their visions don’t always align so it might cause some confusion in continuity. I would probably suggest doing one video for just songs and maybe another video for animatics. Definitely suggest listening to the songs first tho. Although no matter what you choose, I’ll keep watching! I love your style of reaction and I hope you have fun on this journey! Edit: read through a few comments after subscribing and there’s one person who mentioned the different versions of the first two sagas. I totally agree with them about one line in the second saga that is so much more impactful in the new version on Spotify. I love the animatic for that song (WolfyTheWitch I love you for creating it) but that line delivery always gets to me a little bit. There are a few other instances of it in the first two sagas but I agree that the newer version is better to get a first impression

I think it's nice to just hear the music, but the animations can help. I think the best option would be to watch the recent video from Jorge that has his commissioned animations and lyrics, as well as blurbs in between to help set up scenes. The problem you'll run into when watching fan created content is fan interpretations of scenes that isn't consistent with what was intended. The fandom favorite animation for the finale to a later saga, for instance, doesn't have the correct setting for the song and has led to a handful of reactors being confused as to how Odysseus gets to the next scene. Many of the artists who make their own animatics love to see reactions to their work, so perhaps you could watch through Jorge's video and then go back and take suggestions for animatics after. Or, to give yourself more time to digest and understand what happened in a saga, listen to the song on its own, and then go through again with animatics.
