Spoilers: 2 people who live far apart somehow swap bodies when they sleep, and get to experience each other's lives. They were both growing as people with each others help, until one day when they suddenly stopped switching, which leads one of the characters to try to find the other person, who he desperately misses, and who seems to have just disappeared. Despite the impossibility of it, they are able to find each other again purely through their desire to see each other, and despite forgetting each others names at the end (caused by the body-swap magic) they don't forget how much their relationship means to them and are still able to find each other many years later. My explanation is kinda bad, and watching the movie will give you a better sense of its beauty
