Man I hate when horror movies kill off the protagonist in the sequel. Why can’t they let them survive like they did with terrifier for example. Can’t stand the creature winning and I hope they kill it in the next one or whenever they’re done making this. I want it to have karma get them by someone into its mouth like how it does to the people they take over

This thing looked a lot scarier in the first film. Something about the reveal in that old abandoned house in the firelight was a lot more terrifying. The place this occurred did not have the same vibe. The creature felt so out of place. Also I was hoping that that wouldn’t be the creature’s “true form” but rather than it just took that form to scare the person. It would have been cooler if the final form was different in this film. But I guess we have a franchise now. It’s established apparently that this demon’s true form is a giant skinless humanoid with multiple jaws.

so I’m guessing this isnt an uplifting comedy, I think I’ll pass on one and two

Y'know what just occurred to me, maybe the entity and all its aberrations aren't smiling as a means of instilling fear, maybe it's smiling because it always gets what it wants. It's done this process with countless people before Skye and no matter what people attempt to do to combat it it always gets it's way. A game that you know your going to win makes you smile, even more so when your opponent gets distressed and panics it only makes the victory sweeter. So it's a sadistic glee people just happen to always fear the smiles regardless.

Overall an excellent movie
