Hello guys My name is Brian and i live in Est which is Ohio I only film trains now not games.
12/1/2024 Railfanning Macedonia Ohio Feat. High Speed Action, DC to AC, Autorack Train & more!
Long time no railfanning! On thanksgiving Break I planned out to go railfanning because this was my only choice after having to deal with a lot of college applications and schoolwork. It was freezing outside due to with many layers of clothes I’ve been wearing outside to avoid getting sick. The temperature was set to be about 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 29 degrees Fahrenheit to be a cold first day of December because the trains are generally reduced a little bit on Winter season because of difficulties to operate with the freezing weather. You also see some Workers have gotten rail yard days off on the first day of December because of the thanksgiving holiday they have celebrated and needed to relax to get situated in their area “As Soon As Possible” before more crews start working again as normal without workers being absent.

This Labor Day weekend I did have the chance to spend hours in Macedonia Ohio with a lot of foreign power with 55-60mph freights going west and eastbound directions. Dont know the symbol for the first manifest but i was in Berea Ohio when i saw all of these train past the first train symbols are NS 11N NS 22X NS 269 NS 22H and NS 38N
A couple of them was not in Macedonia, it’s definitely operated on rockport or Bedford so you definitely caught from Berea nice.

I already quitted Roblox because school has been too busy for me. Yet I’m a senior in high school now and it’s the time to prepare for colleges and learn new stuff from classes that I need to be more focused on so that’s why I had to quit video games due to the heavy workload I have from school so I had to switch my downtime to watch trains depending on my schedule usually in spring summer and fall.

Looks like the hot 22X. I sat there in the summer when I went up to Cleveland for a day. Saw a lot of foreign power there on a Monday night of all things. How often do you railfan there?
@@davidcoleman958 it depends on time. But right now I’m really busy with school with so much homework and even college applications I have to get over with so I’m gonna think about revisiting Macedonia on thanksgiving break on the first day of December.

@@davidcoleman958I haven’t railfanned at Berra before although that spot has Chicago and Cleveland short line sub to catch which is difficult for me but yes I’ve have another Railfanning hotspot in east Palestine, Grafton, Cleveland, Olmsted falls, Ravenna, and etc.

@@davidcoleman958 depends on traffic, but they documented around 40 trains a day go through there in the Cleveland line . morning,afternoon, and night time is the best time to go there except holiday seasons.
