It is an absolutely paradisical sandy cove but certainly no secret! When I went, towels on the sand, were lined up inches away from each other and disco boom boom from the taverna ruined any remaining peace. I stayed 1 hour because the water was beautiful.

An amazing Place in Hungary, I was in gyor some month ago. 😮

I was there in august 2022. The most beautiful beach and the cleanest water, very peaceful and spacy for swimming. Rent-a-car is a must have in Crete. Polyrizos beach should also be visited, along with Triopetra and Agios Pavlos Sandhills (usually there are waves and currents on APS).

It is the same in the Dodecanese islands, especially in Rodos. Majority of the people don't do any recycling or simply don't do it right. Recycling containers are full of normal waste, because people just don't care. Landfill starts to get full and the huge amount of construction waste from hotel renovations, local home improvements goes to illegal dumping places like river banks, forests. People effortlessly and cheaply want to get rid of waste. Huge educational and economic challenge for a state, who actually doesn't care, just greenwashes problems with campaigns like Plastic-Free Santorini, a huge joke. Time to spend more on waste issues and limit the usage of plastic. People are simply not mature enough to save themselves. I really see the increasing amount of plastic cups and bottles accumulated next to the roads. You pick up one, next week you see 2-3 more, unwinnable war. Although some form of single use plastic is banned, but it is still in circulation. Paper cups also end up next to the road. Unfortunately it is also not a renewal source of material, you need to rely on artificial forestry, you kill real forests to replace with fake monocultures. Here some people actually see pinetrees as enemy, because it limits what they can do with land, so they just cut the trees. I just simply don't see the light. With these stupid consumption patterns (e.g takeaway everything, tapwater not good, overpackeging food) and mentality Greek Islands don't have a bright future, not to mention young people didn't really improve. Make more of these videos!! I only see people care about environment for their own financial benefit, bad reputation, less tourists, less money. Hope is almost lost, but let's not give up.
