Great idea..... I was saying to myself that we have these hospitals in this location, but it is not always the easiest place to access depending on where one is coming from.

I completely agree with you. It starts with a vision, then the infrastructure, then the human resources that will be responsible for the service given. We need to start holding our leaders accountable and pressure them in all possible ways to play the cards with our best interest at heart.

Borrowing and taxing Jamaicans left right and center have not worked as God knows we had over 23 Years. We had wage freezes, no funding in health care and exodus of health care professionals. Yes, this new hospital is a big deal as it will expand services to Jamaicans and people in the wider Caribbean to travel to jamaica as is the case now from people in the eastern Caribbean and Guyana

@@Wes20231 It is indeed a valuable addition to our healthcare system and you are very right about it attracting patients from even outside of Jamaica who more serve as a stream of revenue. This hospital should also relieve the CRH and all the western hospitals of the burden of treating children, this way they can be more efficient in serving adults.

I was looking that as well. Let's see how it looks later down in the winter season. The area of the country shouldn't matter much..this is a few minutes drive from the busiest tourist area of Jamaica.

The operators of this hotel will have no trouble whatsover getting guests. They have an expert knowledge of the Caribbean. They have a large demand prior to building. That location is perfect. New major roads, soon between 2 World class airports. That area will be the envy of the Caribbean. Pinnacle, Round Hill, Tryall and Grand Palladium. These are world class resorts. There are many others to follow.

Who said the hotel is empty? We’ve been having guests long before it even opened and a full house arrival in a few days soooooo getting bookings is definitely not and will never be an issue for princess. Ppl are literally fighting for rooms here cause it’s hard to get a date that’s not months away

Roads are terrible indeed... but the tourists are getting there and enjoying every bit of..

The roads never stopped me from getting to my favorite beach. Once I am there, the journey is well worth it. Most of us don't need "pretty" roads to enjoy life. Different strokes for different folks. Negril has done quite well in spite of the roads.

Actually no, I think Grand Bahia is currently the largest in terms of rooms. This current hotel is not through as yet though. I think this is only phase 1 in the video.

No it’s not, grand Bahia stands at 1300 rooms, this present room stock is at 1000 rooms, but when they complete the second phase it will be the largest at over 2000 rooms, and that’s if they finish before hard rock, unico and Hilton which be another 2000 room project,
