Damn, I really understand your situation and all I can say really is do what you enjoy. If your fans don't really enjoy non-sonic stuff then that's on them, like for me I tried branching out with kirby content which wasn't that popular at first, but then I tried again and introduced many kirby fans to my channel. So I guess if you really want to leave then that's your choice, but I recommend you push forward!
