37:20? I feel like Richard hasn't read Derrick Jensen, Ozzie Zehner, or Andreas Roos.
31:50 Economic inequality has little, if anything, to do with climate change, Richard. And it's a terrible/tactical mistake for you to conflate the two.
You really think the population is going to reach 10 billion?
You are pushing a potentially catastrophic agenda; Net zero is politically driven, scientifically illiterate nonsense. It ignores basic Physics, Chemistry and Biology. At no time in Earth's entire history has any level of CO2 driven warming or prevented the planet cooling. The last time CO2 was at 400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 4500ppm the planet COOLED. The last time CO2 increased from 400 to 800ppm (about 30 million years ago) the climates did not change. The only world metric that has actually matched CO2 rise has been 3rd world crop yields per Hectare (1st world yield have done even better thanks the the better feed, seed, weed and pest control not available to the 3rd world). The only world metric that has fallen MASSIVELY as CO2 has risen is the number of deaths from famine. It is mostly thanks to the rise in CO2 that crop yields have outpaced population growth and that deaths from famine are at an all time low when the population is at an all time high. Net zero would allow the population to grow beyond food production and the return of widespread famine. All of the carbon for all life on the planet enters the food chain from CO2, the plant's ability to support biomass is directly linked to atmospheric CO2 levels CO2 feeds the world but it cannot force any significant climate change.
