Hi Patrick - once I'd seen and heard the quality of the image and sound I couldn't resist posting it. It was an awesome concert! My brother and I have seen them half a dozen times now dating back almost two decades to performing in pubs; The Welly in Hull, which was particularly memorable... and an underground venue, such as The Custard Factory in Birmingham, where we actually met them setting up their equipment. They wholly deserve all there rewards, they have continuously pushed and worked exceptionally hard for everything. Rob Swires is nothing short of a genius... If I had a minute criticism, it would be that they didn't perform the vocals on" Halo" live... Matt Tuck isn't currently touring so perhaps could have graced the stage with his presence... failing that, there are a plethora of others that could have fulfilled this role for the band in his honor. Nit-picking I know to what was otherwise a flawless performance...

@@laughtonexplorer You’re welcome! I have had my MTS1200 from new in 2010 and still love it 55k miles later. I dont tour on it, its a sport ride/ big supermoto to me. Power commander, half system, geared down 1 tooth at the front and the wheels from an 1198. Its been measured at 147hp at the wheel and I cant remember exactly how much torque, but it was circa 90+ Lb ft. Its really interesting to see all this work. Thank you very much for all your hard graft in putting out these videos.

Hi Personally I’d go for the OEM Brembo discs and the Jurid Pads and Bosch sensor wire. All available from Autodoc

Could also be the thrust arm (tension arm). The bushes get worn and cause a judder under braking. My discs are due replacement so I’m going to do them before doing the arms. Hopefully that cures the judder. If not I’ll replace the arms after that.

The 2010 model only has two.

@@garyherd5751 - hourly rate doesn’t seem too bad compared to Car Dealers. To be fair, with all things considered, it probably took me 12 hours. I got my belts from France as there was a special offer. Still think its a big sum that though… yikes 😱

Sounds like the motor is seizing up... check for rust around the bottom of the spindle.

Why though if you mark it up as it is and nothing moves, then with the new belt surely it would just be timed exactly the same

@@robkirtley2049 correct. However if either of the cylinders is under pressure or the cam is under sprung pressure - especially if any of the valves are open, the piston would come into contact with the valve head, potentially damaging the valve. I was fortunate there was no movement…

The fan wasn't making a sound and windows steaming up.

If there is no movement of air, it has to be fan or regulator

Chances are the fan motor... I think it will be opposite the steering column - so on your right.

It will be on the other side as it would interfere with the steering column. Good luck!!

I believe it should work immediately. It sounds like fan motor has ceased if not this. This is usually caused by water building up in drainage channels (leaves) flooding the HVAC Unit and rusting up the motor spindle.

@@laughtonexplorer i tested motor itself by touching its wires to the battery. And it spinned so I guess motor has no problems.

@@stereogamma3481 I did the same, but it seemed the corrosion goes inside the housing and increases friction. The sensors picked this up; in my case, and shut the fan off. I had to buy a new fan assembly.

@@dct1 Hi Dan - I purchased a replacement from eBay, just the fan and motor. Cost me £30.

I’ve since discovered that the drainage tube at the bottom of the HVAC Motor gets blocked with leaves etc and fills the area surrounding the HVAC Unit. Water eventually gets into the mechanism and ceases up the motor. I’ve got an airline which I’ve used to blow debris back up the tube under the wheel arch - hope this helps...

@@babyboy888100 sounds very much like mine, take out the unit and see if the bottom of the motor spindle is rusty. It’s such a common fault with these... you’ll also possibly be experiencing wet carpets on the left side of the car when sat inside.

My heater control panel switches on & off. I've replaced the control panel but still the same. Do you think my problem might be related to yours. Cheers steve.
