I had a similar experience with Afreda. I ordered one in the early Spring and received it not working. The company answered emails very sporadically. I took it to a repair shop and they got it running but too fast, for$300. When I went for my first ride it was completely discharged and would not recharge. Fortunately, I had paid with Amex and they got most of my money back but the summer is coming to a close and I have no bike.
For those of you who are following this disaster, Jasion has reached out, asked multiple questions (again) and made promises. Nothing has happened so far. And that is the general attitude from Jasion!!!!!
Sorry to hear of your troubles George. I too had an absolutely horrible customer service experience as well trying to return items that did not fit my X Hunter. After 3 weeks of getting the run around and repeatedly asking for a return shipping label I finally gave up. Fortunately my bikes are still operating. Jasion is a horrible company and everyone should look elsewhere to spend your money on an ebike.
Well Andy, I appreciate your comment. It is important to warn folks to spend their money on stuff they can trust. And Jasion is not, totally not in that category. But they are not done with me. I last already a 1000 bucks, with the risk my other bike will fail anytime soon as well.
I wonder if there is a way to get a third party involved? Maybe something like your credit card company, a lawyer, the BBB, or someone from your state consumer protection office? It’s just a thought but unfortunately there are quite a few folks on the facebook owners group who have broken down bikes and no way to get them fixed or get a refund
@@andyp4903 I am working with the CC company already. That’s one. I thought about the BBB and will start to look into this as well. Thanks for thinking with me
Interesting. I just received mine if two days ago and the front sprocket is bent to the point where the chain comes off. It's been 3 days with essentially no response from messaging them on Facebook and emailing support. 🤬
Followup: They did get back to me shortly after I posted this. I sent them a video and they sent a brand new sprocket in a couple of days. So good news on my end.
@diezmon You save boatloads by buying this way. They offered to pay and repair his motor. Phoning up a bike shop and telling the shop you have a Jasion bike is beyond stupid. Take the rear wheel off and find a shop that repairs hubs - there's only 3 major motor makers and such shops are repairing hub motors all day long (that's where all the ebike couriers and door dash people go). In fact most recommend you open up the hub motor and check if it's been greased correctly. Same goes for the controllers silver paste and ensuring heat sink has good contact. The simple matter is all of these lower cost vendors all simply drop ship their ebikes and really only have a post box address. If one not resourceful and is a cuckold then buy from a full service local shop- you pay 2 grand for what the x-hunter gets you for under $1000. So how Jasion, gobike, heybike etc. works? They are all the same. Obviously this poster is new to buying things on line, and given his low IQ and lack of resourcefulness, he should avoid on line shopping and stick to brick and mortor shopping. You pay far more but if one expects that level of service, then you pay through the nose. Same for buying cars etc. So save boatloads buying a Jasion or go full service. But telling me he's never purchased from a drop shipper? That's how they all work and you save boatloads of money with such a purchase.

I would contact the credit card company and file a dispute and have them advocate for you.
Already done

I am sorry for you, but you’re in for a rough ride. I wish I could have warned you earlier.😢
