Hello,Qualified Tutor I recently came across your UA-cam channel and was impressed by the quality of your content. However, after conducting a comprehensive analysis, I noticed there is room for improvement for your UA-cam channel to get more visitors and subscribers. • Your Video Title and description needs to be improved • You need to use more relevant tags and keywords • Organic promotion of Top social media • High-ranking tag setup (keyword, hashtag) If you want I can do a free UA-cam channel audit for you for your better understanding.

Tell Sharon my good friend is best mates with Greg Davies lol.
It was such a pleasure to be on the Qualified Tutor Podcast. Thanks for inviting me and for asking such interesting and challenging quesitons.
Wow .. one of the most interesting podcasts I’ve listened to on this theme ! … Positive and inspirational , this young mother able to draw effectively on her own personal life experiences / challenges , and share her learned strengths and positive mind-set with her lucky students !! I shall follow her progress with interest ! Thank you for that !🤗
Thanks Ishbel! Rachel will be delighted to hear this, and we are too 🙏 Did you have a particular favourite moment?
I found this very helpful, thank you!
Thanks Lunar - have you heard of Sharon before?
I'm A Secondary DT and Art Teacher! Oh no...wonder what I could do instead? Eek!
Start a design-focused Instagram page? Become an Art and DT tutor? Create online or in-person workshops to help train other Art and/or DT teachers and tutors? The opportunities are endless!
I have done a course with QT but it doesn't qualify me ?
Ah yes, the lovely online monitoring during lockdown! We had to send across a video of one of our lessons so that SLT could assess it. Another unnecessary layer of anxiety that teachers just didn't need at that time.
Totally understand this - can you think of an alternative means of supervision/instruction that would work? We'd love to hear your thoughts
@@qualifiedtutor, the other option we were given was for SLT to mute themselves, camera off and just observe. To me, that is more uncomfortable!
@@DazzleDust32 seems so! No one needs that kind of strict supervision ... 🙃
@@qualifiedtutor, one of the many reasons I left the classroom in July!
The discussion gives a good overview and context for tutoring and Lee provides some insights from his research and experience. Julia introduced some useful theoretical points later on. I did find Lee's comment about older tutors being seen as "dinosaurs" somewhat off-putting. Age is one of the nine protected characteristics; when I looked at the Application Process for the National Tutoring Programme I was reassured to read they are "committed to equal opportunities for all, irrespective of race, colour, creed...or age". Non-discrimination in terms of age is part of equal opportunities, which in turn is part of social mobility.
It's great to see how open the NTP is, especially this coming academic year. Will you be involved Mark?
@@qualifiedtutor I am giving the NTP application a go as a way of testing the waters
So encouraging and positive prospective to the role of tutor. This channel gives a great value to tutors roles. Thank you very much for this.
Dena, it's a pleasure to hear from you - thank you for your endorsement.

Hi! Aidan I would love an opportunity to view your database. The most critical omission I have detected in oday's virtual teaching environment is the omission of phonetics based lesson for beginner English students, especially foreign students.
Just subbed, about to check out some of your other videos! Good luck with growing your channel! Have you heard of smzeus . c o m? It could help you get your videos higher in the search results!
