HAHAHA YES EXACTLY!
😮😮😮
Mega right! Reminds me of Saurons spire!
Rapunzel’s tower ? 😅 . Just kidding , it is very impressive , a guardian of time .
Hahahah it could indeed be! Local legend suggests that Wainhouse Tower was built as part of a feud between John Edward Wainhouse and his neighbor, Sir Henry Edwards. Allegedly, Wainhouse constructed the tower to overlook Edwards’ estate, adding an intriguing layer of local folklore to its history.
Very nice!
Thank you big man! You can actually climb up to the top on bank holidays!

Theres so much more to life than your insignificant problem. Dont worry, the rest of youtube will come through with the 🤲🍼
I mean, I’m glad you think it’s insignificant 😂 Having 1tb of photography and video data not loading for me is not a insignificant problem 😂 but I’m glad you can’t relate, your life is more simplistic without it

Thank you 😍😍😍
Wow! We are not used to so much honesty and sincere self-reflection in times of social media! My greatest respect for that Jacob! I think I know what you mean. I also often have great difficulties after such trips to dedicate myself to editing the material with joy. I usually start with the not-so-great shots. There's this strange fear that once you've edited the best shots, the trip or experience is finally over. Or that maybe they didn't turn out as great as you always imagined. Does that sound strange? I really like the idea of the happiness of the pursuit versus the pursuit of happiness. I also think it's important to find happiness not just in achieving (big) goals but everywhere. In everyday life. There is so much to discover. More fun less stress. Your video made me laugh. Firstly because of the ice slide scene and also the freaking out in the car... but above all because of the memory of the magnificent landscape. And your shots look beautiful even as a preview. That Hamnoy scene through the clouds... Awesome! Thanks for the video!
Oooo, that’s actually a really good bit of advice really. Even though it probably wasn’t intended as such, I’d see that in a different way… Start editing the ‘not so good’ then you always have the best to look forward to. I usually start with the best then lose all drive to edit the rest because they’re not as good. Thank you for the kind words about the video bits too man! 😂 hopefully will lead to a really nice collection of videos for the future. Almost finished backing everything up now…only 400 files to go!
Can I ask you, was your first drone a GPS drone?
I’ve always had DJI drones, which believe is a 👍🏼
@@Memoirs.of.a.Yorkshireman I think it is a good idea for every beginner to start with a €20 tiny whoop. No GPS, no optical flow, not even altitude hold. Proper flying. Get real skills. Because somehow it teaches you orientation and to react quickly, and awareness what is around you. GPS isn't real flying. The drone does it all for you. Until it goes wrong. Now I'm not saying you will never crash again. But some day somewhere it could save your drone. I have seen so many people starting with a fancy DJI Mini 3 or 4 Pro, or Air 3 or Mavic. Then they feel as if they are a great pilot. But soon you have them fly without GPS or obstacle avoidance they realize they can't fly at all. Having proper skills also helps to navigate in between trees and stuff, fly more smoothly for better shots. Sometimes the only way to get a drone back against a strong wind is low and manually. Or it flies off or goes into toilet bowl and you have to disable GPS. So if someone ever ask you what they should start with, then tell them to buy a tiny JJRC H36 or Eachine 010. It's really difficult at first. But if that is too much trouble for them, they shouldn't be flying at all.
I can completely see your thinking here to be fair! I would say that’s not tooooo much bad advice. However, the learning curve would be much steeper where DJIs make beginner steps really easy. It’s probably be easier to learn the basics on a DJI then switch to something harder. I did unfortunately just let my drone get out of line of sight for a split second and didn’t have a spotter helping me fly which is why I crashed! Unfortunately! But it’s all fun and games
@@Memoirs.of.a.Yorkshireman It is much harder to fly a €20 tiny whoop. That's the whole idea. But you can crash it against the walls without breaking it. You can't with a pretty much self flying DJI. People are so often clueless what the wind does or what is their left or right. It's like putting a 5 yo in self driving Tesla. It all goes well until it goes wrong. Even worse are those auto-features. Like the auto 360 active-track. I've seen them use it next to busy roads missing cars by a fraction. Had they started with a toy drone they would have learned to use the sensors in their head they were born with; their brain and eyes. Now I'm not saying you crashed your drone because you don't know have to fly. But all you are used to is GPS. It kinda makes you too lazy. Understand what I mean? I just think a DJI Mini 3 Pro or 4 Pro or something is the best beginner drone. Just as you don't take driving lessons in a Tesla.
I mean, it depends I can see your pattern of thinking, it’d be better to have a more holistic understanding of flying for sure! However, I don’t think ‘most’ people would avoid crashing by having a slightly more difficult drone to fly first, I feel like they’d just crash a lot more a lot less and probably not get “the bug” for it!

Great content
Thank you good man!
Enjoy your brand new drone Jacob! ;) At 10:14 you can see the lower parts of the Offersoykammen which I climbed up to watch the sunset. You can't see the snow covered peak but the path started right behind the "Lofoten base camp" huts which you can see at the lower right. Spectacular view from up there!
Thank you sir!!! Oh matey, I’m going to have to head back over summer and camp out at the top of one of those beautiful summits
Beautiful work. I used to love going to the cathedrals in Europe when I was a young man. His work captures the sense of that transcendental architecture!
Perfectly put sir!!! Absolutely captures the beauty of the places and the stories they’re trying to tell!
💀
Important decisions need to be made
Wow, the craftsmanship just blows my mind🤯 so gorgeous
Honestly!!!! It’s incredible right!!
If someone asks you that, tell them to mind there business cause you do what you want! 💖
The way you had placed the camera lens down definitely gives me anxiety.
😂😂😂😂😂 I can see why, but when you get used to having big ass lenses, that weight x2 your camera, this is the easiest and ‘safest’ way! But I totally understand you😂
@@Memoirs.of.a.Yorkshireman not s*itting on your video by the way. It has a good message.
Oh I didn’t take it that way sir no worries! But thanks for clarifying! ❤️
Literally I went up Snowden not to long ago and I couldn’t see a thing😂
I’ve done snowden a few times and never got the spectacular vista 😂 still a beautiful hike nonetheless!
Too deep!
Can never be too deep my friend ❤️
I resonated with this on so many levels. Too many times I find myself alone in a room full of people. The anxiety sets and tries break free from with in. That’s when I rush to the closest pen and whatever will except the ink. Just like that, it all goes away. Thank you for the content. Keep up the good work my friend ❤
Thank you very much for this wholesome reply, and I hope you continue finding your peace as well dude!!! Take care
