The nice thing about this truck is that it can be upgraded to a brushless motor along with a li-po battery and just switch a jumper setting. I am planning to upgrade soon. Then we'll see some real power!

Lars always complains of his right body side along with the hand to hurt. This is because No.1 he uses metal sticks and No.2 he hasn't even have a ride. I use ride on Metallica songs and they sound fine. Also this way your body weight finally shifts from one side to the other and you don't get tired that easily. Thanks for mentioning that. @@chrisidis1 well, not me, a Snr club member did the maiden for me. nobody thought to mention a range check at all to me before then, the voltmeter on the antique Tx was way over in the green and not exactly showing reason to worry, i learnt i was wrong. i still hardly buy anything new, except batteries 🤓

it hardly flew, more like a prolonged highjump to faceplant within 3sec. still plan to repair it one day, it is easily 50+ years old and that was it's only bit of air time ever. i'm setting up another old trainer similar to your plane as i type this. just older, of course.

@@spitfire051288 You know spitfire (cool nick btw) the guy that did your maiden flight should ask you first whether you just recharged your batteries. Can I see your 50+ year old plane ? It sounds cool. Just place a picture here I want to see it. The only accident I had with this plane was when I did 3 loops in the air and the elastics holding the main wing snapped on the 3rd loop. The plane went straight down in the mud and I had to replace the carburetor which had become completely full of mud. So I learned my lesson and used more elastics in the future. You haven't seen a new video of my rc plane because even though I changed the batteries and know now that all servos work fine, the carburetor is still stuck and I'm thinking of ordering a new one. It only costs 40 euros. Thanks for your input!

@@chrisidis1 Hi, I will try to share a photo when i have some free time. might not be this week. Also, have you tried using a heat gun on it for about 45secs on it? it might be easy to release once the old castor oil is hot and runny again. i wouldnt advise flame,. there are a lot of vids on yt unjamming with heat

no I love this plane, I will fix it no matter how many new parts I will need. I want my daughter to see it flying!

Did that one have the pc training program? I remember you could learn on your computer before flying the actual plane

@@Pgd10020 Actually no. The plane is called Arising Star. I had to buy extra software and a usb transmitter controller.
