I know this is an old video but I've been following the same project and i'm kinda concerned that my trigger group and the recevier can't handle the pressure. I stripped the galvanization of the sheets on the receiver, made the barrel longer but kind of scared to fire it.

I have a really good idea on how to make a revolver semi automatic, what do you think, should I do it in 9 mm, 45 acp, 38 special, 357 magnum, or 44 magnum, or will it break the gun because homemade quality isn’t that good? even if I get a really high quality steel and make it with a compensator?
